“Great place to stay”

I would highly recommend this hotel. It had nice rooms and a helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was actually pretty good it included scrambled eggs, bacon and assorted other pastries, cereal and fruits.

“Comfortable Downtown Mosbach Hotel”

Really friendly and helpful reception . Good secure bike storage . Elevator for upper floors . Restaurant on-site has very limited menu but the hotel is in the town center and there are numerous restaurant choices . We had a great dinner at Wild Bill’s Saloon which was about 300m. down the street .… lisää

Really friendly and helpful reception . Good secure bike storage . Elevator for upper floors . Restaurant on-site has very limited menu but the hotel is in the town center and there are numerous restaurant choices . We had a great dinner at Wild Bill’s Saloon which was about 300m. down the street . Room was quite large and clean but the bathroom which also was very clean was a bit cozy / small . The shower entrance in our bathroom was so small that I had to turn sideways to get through the door . A minor inconvenience but rather interesting with the remainder of the room so large . Breakfast was adequate.

“Nice surprise”

I didn’t know quite what to expect for this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. The room, while a bit dated (and containing the dreaded twin beds) was very clean, and they had gummy treats on the pillow which was a cute touch. I didn’t know quite what to expect for this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised. The room, while a bit dated (and containing the dreaded twin beds) was very clean, and they had gummy treats on the pillow which was a cute touch. There is a modern (albeit small) flatscreen in the room, as well as a small table in the corner and a large armoire. Defiitely not new furnishings and it felt very sparse, but quaint in a good way. There is a mini fridge available. The bathroom was very tiny – but clearly modernized. It didn’t go with the rest of the room, but that was ok – I think they maximized the space they had. Shower area was very small, and you almost touch the wall from the WC – kind of have to angle the door just right to get at it. It did have a vanity mirror for shaving/makeup as well as a heated towel rack. The hallways were a little disconcerting – they have automatic shut off lights, so you have to find switches on the wall to see every time you go into the hallway. Felt a little desolate. Room keys are old fashioned keys. You have to unlock and lock your room with the key – and you have to lock it with the key from the inside. This may be a bit of a fire hazard as you have to turn the key around a few times before it locks. I think there are 2 floors – elevator doesn’t run to the top, and it also doesn’t run all way. They shut it down at night, and into the morning (not sure when it reopens). It is a very, very small elevator. Reception was very nice. We at the restaurant one night, and the food was fine. They only have one menu in English, but it worked. Breakfast had a surprisingly large number of options. The hotel appeared to be local in walking distance to several things, but since I did not explore I can’t elaborate.
