“Perfect in the winter”
With a little snow, this is a romantic and quiet hotel for a night or two with your second half. Traditional German food and drinks with a friendly team providing a cosy atmosphere. Great nature around as it is situated next to a forest. Perfect for late night walks and fresh air.

“Very tranquil”
Fantastic location with views over the Black Forest. Also tucked away from the local town. Just remember some hotels have 'quiet days' when they are open, (kind of) but there's no one around. I arrived very late and because of a language mix up there was no key. Had to get management out of bed. N… lisää

“Typical German Hotel in the middle of black forest”
I spent a night there in January, and must confess I really loved it : its typical german flavor, with large and quiet rooms, a nice breakfast buffet, in the middle of the snowy forest made it a rather "exotic" stop. Don't miss the "brasserie" on the other side of the road to complete the ambiance.

“So-so”
Wifi, nul. Incredible when you have To work.! Breakfast des good. Bed and bedroom were good. Owner's dog sleeping in the middle of the lobby Strange for an hotel Maybe it's normal for this hotel, not for me.
