After reading the reviews I was somewhat nervous of staying here but I shouldn’t have worried! The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and we heard no noise from the bar. Even when walking through the bar the music didn’t seem that loud. The thing I loved the most was a galley at the end of the corridors that you could make free tea and coffee to take back to your room. It was a very cool hotel with technology and attention to detail which was fun! It’s centrally located making it easy to explore the city. Parking is in the shopping centre car park next door.

There is a lot of thought that has gone into the character of the Ruby hotels (in Stuttgart as elsewhere). It's lightning, the overall atmosphere, working spaces, random seating arrangements, guitars that you can borrow, etc. All 5* on originality and encouraging. There is a lot of thought that has gone into the character of the Ruby hotels (in Stuttgart as elsewhere). It's lightning, the overall atmosphere, working spaces, random seating arrangements, guitars that you can borrow, etc. All 5* on originality and encouraging. Unfortunately, it can be met with somewhat unprofessional staff. And if you add that to the mix, with the rooms having such barren views and being overlooked (in Stuttgart; in Frankfurt if unlucky), that you end up staying behind closed or slimly opened curtains all day long, rooms where the WIFI doesn't reach, elevator noise, etc. It can end up being more of a glamping experience, within walls. The rooms themselves are well equipped for short stays, with great powerful showers, too. So was it bad luck after trying several of their hotels? I lean towards saying, a nice place to enjoy a drink, sure.
