“Well worth a visit”
We have been staying at the Alemannen hof which is very pleasant (and expensive) but the food and service is average. We chose to take the short drive to this place and wow what a difference. Service with a smile and the food was excellent. Can thoroughly recommend. 5•

“Well worth the 6 hours travel from Freiburg!”
First a crash in the mountain road, then the road round the lake was closed, so all in all around 6 hours to travel around 50 miles .Anyway, once there we quickly relaxed in a lovely spacious and clean room with a balcony with views of the wooded mountain. “My favorite hotel in Bavaria, personal service, road was closed so use Apple navigation!”
