Location is very strategic to the different restaurant, beer garden and very close to Burghausen castle. If you’re visiting Burghausen, this is the best place to stay. Worth the money that you’re spending.

“Really nice hotel at the top of the hill and end of the castle ”

Reception staff is absolutely terrific. Smiling , helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent secure bicycle storage . Room quite large , very clean with very good lighting . Clean bathroom. Comfortable bed . Good on-site restaurant. Immediately next to the longest castle in Germany. Excellent breakfast with multiple hot and cold food choices . Reasonable price point for room . Only down side is the fact that after riding 90km. by bicycle the last hill to the hotel Is daunting but the place is worth the effort . We have stayed here twice before and definitely will do so again when bicycling down the Tauren Bike Trail .

“Great Hotel and Location”

Stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Burghausen for the first time on business. Upon arrival, we had dinner in the Hofbrauhaus on location which was phenomenal. Stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Burghausen for the first time on business. Upon arrival, we had dinner in the Hofbrauhaus on location which was phenomenal. Rooms were spacious compared to most hotels in Germany. The breakfast offered in the morning had a lot of variety and very fresh (4.80 Euro added per night for breakfast on your hotel bill). The location was also great - you're really close to old town and new town. You are a few steps from the Burghausen Castle at this hotel which is the longest castle in the world. Hotel staff knew enough English to get by. Very neat place to stay and visit! I would highly recommend this hotel.

“A perfect location when visiting Berghausen”

We stayed a week at this hotel. The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was lovely. We stayed in April which is great because there is no air conditioning. We stayed a week at this hotel. The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was lovely. We stayed in April which is great because there is no air conditioning. First Europe trip and it's big world out there. The hand soap is also for shampoo and body, it smelled wonderful and was fine to use. The hair dryer only works when my finger was on the button. They use duvets on the beds and not a top sheet. The breakfast was wonderful and just about anything one desired was available (no ice tea though). I appreciated how things are done differently and was happy with everything at the hotel. They have a restaurant and the dinner we had was very good. We went most nights for an evening glass of wine and that was lovely. The servers spoke english. I wish i was able to speak German. A lot of people speak English in Germany. Wish I spoke more languages. It was also very reasonably priced. Very pleased with our stay here. It is steps from the longlest castle in the world. It is very looooong!
