Lovely little hotel, beautifully located near the bridge that's a confluence of two rivers, one of which is the Danube (hence the hotel's name!). Rooms are clean and comfortable and the owners could not be nicer. There is perfectly adequate car parking and the hotel is only a short walk (across the bridge I've just mentioned) from the town. The town is quite pretty in parts, but we were only staying one night so we didn't explore it. The breakfast deserves special mention - I usually have fruit and yogurt as part of my breakfast when on holiday; this hotel actually had fresh pineapple on the table- and cut pieces from it for breakfast. I can't recall the last time I saw this! We stayed here as part of our drive down the romance road from Würzburg, and our experience of the hotel was such that we would not hesitate to stay here again. I should say though that some of the interior décor is a bit eccentric- not dirty or unpleasant though:) We liked it here and would recommend it to anyone.

“A warm welcome, comfortable room and tasty breakfast”

As many have stated, this hotel is not flashy or showy and probably isn't the subject of too many Instagram posts. As many have stated, this hotel is not flashy or showy and probably isn't the subject of too many Instagram posts. It did, however, offer us all we needed for a one-night stopover on our roadtrip in Germany. Parking was easy. The welcome was warm and friendly. The room was clean with a strong, hot shower and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was generous. An easy walk across the bridge back to Donauworth with plenty of restaurants, shops and picturesque spots.

“Nice stop over ”

We were driving south and had to find a place to stay before continuing our journey. This place is really nice, situated a bit outside of town just across the river and opposite the firefighter station. We were driving south and had to find a place to stay before continuing our journey. This place is really nice, situated a bit outside of town just across the river and opposite the firefighter station. We arrived a bit late in the evening and nobody was at the front desk, but we rang the doorbell, we were let in and informed to take the keys on the frontdesk and the papers to be signed. The room was in the building across the yard. We were at the top floor in a very big and nice room. It looked a bit like a guestroom in a private home, nice lamps and a very big closet that covered the whole back wall. Not usually seen in hotels. Bathroom was very new and nice, had a built in radio which I found nice and useful. We slept very well, the beds are very good and comfortable. A important issue when it comes to Hotels. Breakfast was served in the main building and nothing was missing, youghurt, cerials, you could order a boiled egg, fruits and lots of bread. And They had four different kinds of brownbread. Soilt for choice. Check out was easy and the staff very friendly. If I came to these parts agin I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Mukavalla paikalla, lähellä keskustaa. Parkkipaikkoja melko vähän. Hotellin toisessa osassa tehty remontti. Vastaanotto todella pieni, mutta joustava ja hyvä palvelu. Huoneissa toimivat ratkaisut. Aamiainen todella maittava ja runsas. Hieman hinnakas tasoon nähden. Muuten ok.
