This is conveniently located on the Garching campus, so has just become my hotel of choice when visiting one of the research institute here. The rooms have a small kitchenette, which I like. This is conveniently located on the Garching campus, so has just become my hotel of choice when visiting one of the research institute here. The rooms have a small kitchenette, which I like. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of reasonable quality, although exactly the same very day. Note that for short stays the kitchens are by default not equipped, but you can request this for a small extra fee. The only negative point is that there are very few facilities in the area. The only restaurant open in the evening is in the next door Marriot, but it is very poor. There are no food shops, so you need to travel to Garching to buy supplies: but that is only one stop on the U-Bahn, so quite quick.

only small negative thing were that room temperature was higher than I wanted, even I disconnected heater, so I usually opened window when I stayed in room. Small kitchen and good shower. “Don’t expect hotel services”

There were 4 of us and a little dog(extra 30€). We stayed for two nights. Room was ok, pull out sofa for the kids and king size bed for the parents. Dog had its own bed. Parking just below the building with direct access to the rooms. We had an “ok” experience, walking distance to the conference … lisää

There were 4 of us and a little dog(extra 30€). We stayed for two nights. Room was ok, pull out sofa for the kids and king size bed for the parents. Dog had its own bed. Parking just below the building with direct access to the rooms. We had an “ok” experience, walking distance to the conference and easy access to the highway, lots of parking spots available. Unfortunately there is more There was no reception (in both afternoons, but check in time is 3PM, we had to check in at the nearby courtyard, where everybody from both hotels was checking in, hence long waiting time). Rooms were not air conditioned, in April with open windows we could sleep but in the summer months I don’t know… Our room was not prepared for the 4 of us. Sofa was not mad to bed. There were no amenities in the bathroom except for some hand soap dispenser. Nothing to shower or shampoo. Room service was not provided (no towels exchange, cleaning, bed service). The elevator was not secure (you can access every floor without the key, even from the basement/parking, the card reader in the elevator was not active). The kitchenette was there, one nespresso machine and 2 capsules, two mugs, 2 glasses. (For the 4 of us) No dishes, no cutlery. There is day parking rate for 22€ but it’s for only one exit a day, so every time you use the car you pay the hourly rate (2.5€) and then the day rate in the morning… All in all average experience, we were happy we could stay with our dog but not much more.
