During our January visit to the opera in Munich, we decided to stay somewhere different from the Bayerischer Hof, where we had stayed on previous trips to the city. With our requirement to be able to walk to the opera within a maximum of five minutes, DO CO Munich became the obvious choice. Despite complications with our arrival caused by a strike that blocked access, we were able to check in. The hotel building itself, as well as its interiors, are very elegant and modern, yet they feel exceptionally calm, intimate, and welcoming. The room was spacious, simply but pleasantly furnished, and felt very cozy, enhanced by the ambient lighting. Unfortunately, it did not correspond to the room shown in the photographs for the category we had paid for, which was quite disappointing—personally, I absolutely dislike attic rooms in hotels. However, we soon realized that we had arrived before the official check-in time of 3:00 p.m., so another room may not have been available at that moment. This, however, was the only negative aspect of our stay and of the hotel overall. We were taken care of by incredibly kind and attentive people—from the valet parking staff, to the reception team, and the service in the DO CO Bistro, where we had both dinner and breakfast. Although the hotel is located in the same building as the FC Bayern Munich brand store, it was wonderfully quiet and truly intimate. Nothing disturbed us, neither from outside nor inside the hotel. The DO CO Bistro was literally enchanting—with its interior design, beautifully coordinated colors and lighting, and above all, the excellent food. The beef tataki was the best we have ever had, and the “Best of” breakfast was truly outstanding and generous. The overall experience was further elevated by the hotel’s very short walking distance to both the opera and Marienplatz, which was just a few steps away. Valet parking was fast and reliable. We would like to thank everyone at the DO CO Hotel for the wonderful moments spent here. We will be very happy to return.

Service is outstanding and of the highest level — every wish is anticipated before it is even expressed. The food is excellent: breakfast is top-tier, and the sushi in the evening is equally outstanding. We will definitely return.

“Good Meal, yet far from the Vienna Do&Co Standard”

This is the second Do&Co restaurant I have visited. The food is good, however the service and the menu variety do not compare to the level of service and the range of dishes at the Do&Co restaurant in Vienna.
