“Good value standard hotel”

Stayed for four nights and ate dinner twice. Good large room with a view over a nearby stadium. No AC and no fan, so temps of 28C in the room not good for some. Didn't bother me. Wifi worked well, as did TV. Shower and toilet fine. Reception pleasant, and able to speak English fairly well. B… lisää

Stayed for four nights and ate dinner twice. Good large room with a view over a nearby stadium. No AC and no fan, so temps of 28C in the room not good for some. Didn't bother me. Wifi worked well, as did TV. Shower and toilet fine. Reception pleasant, and able to speak English fairly well. Breakfast and dinner perfectly acceptable. Windows open fully which is a pleasant change from the semi-locked versions in so many hotels now. Clearly HSE not quite got to Brandenburg yet, and I wasn't planning to jump out the window. Quiet at night. Easy parking and easy access to the town.

“Ignore the outside, inside there is a good hotel well worth staying in.”

The Axxon looks from the outside like a grubby run down 70s system built apartment or office block, rearing over a nondescript part of Brandenburg. Somewhere to pass by rapidly. Well don't! The Axxon looks from the outside like a grubby run down 70s system built apartment or office block, rearing over a nondescript part of Brandenburg. Somewhere to pass by rapidly. Well don't! Inside, the hotel is nicely decorated and furnished, bright and the staff welcoming. My room on the 3rd floor was quiet, clean and very generously sized with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom had an excellent shower. And all well refurbished and very clean. Breakfast was Very good value with an excellent choice of cereals, breads, meats, cheeses etc. Best of all was the superb omelette freshly made by a charming lady, cheerfully putting up with my mangled German. I've moderated the rating because of wifi not being free and if there was a room safe I missed it. Functional gym. But as I said at the start, external appearance belies the decent hotel inside.

“Empty but clean”

East block prefab concrete plate slab high rise. No floor light, no cutlery, no kettle, no iron board, no toiletries, no second key, no AC, no fan…. But Two single beds pushed together with stiff old mattresses, cigarette smelly room, carpet from the 90’s, noisy yard, old tv, a humming empty fridge, 1 big roll, flickering bath light and a shaky building. Somewhat clean and with functioning hotspot internet. Well it’s a roof over your head with very little sleep as it’s road noise and the court yard restaurant that are a pain. Not sure what to think as it’s a different kind of experience.

Thw hotel is in a rather boring 1990-ies buidling outside of the city. Not much else going on quite nearby. I got a mini suite, since that was the only room left. The suite was large, but hot. It has neither a fan, nor aircon, and with the heat it could do with one of them. Reception was wirking ra… lisää

It has neither a fan, nor aircon, and with the heat it could do with one of them. Reception was wirking rather slowly, which I ound a bit annoying. Breakfast was ok. No wiif in my room ... but in the hallway outside (as well in the reception area). OK value for money

“JUST TO SLEAP”

Poor hotel in old comunist style building. Service in reception is good, rooms big but no aircondition and not very clean. Breakfest is medium quality and location bad our of village. Very slow internet in rooms
