“Isolated, but good hotel”

The route from the highway to the hotel is via a relative small road through the woods. I arrived in the evening (= dark) and wondered if this was the right way to go. The hotel itself has sufficient parking. I was welcomed by a very kind person, who informed me in detail (how to get to the room, the restaurant,...). The room itself was big and had a nice view on the lake. It must be very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the view. I was on a business trip, hence had other things on my mind. I did appreciate the fast WIFI, and sufficient workspace. What needs to be improved is available electricity plugs. There are zero(!) available at the workdesk, so I had to unplug the light to have power supply. THe bathroom has a shower and a bath, hot water in a few seconds (watch out: it is really HOT water) and soap/shampoo/showergel/body lotion,... all is there. The bed is of good quality and -no surprise- it is very quiet during the night. I also had dinner, it tasted very good, but only just enough if you are hungry. I advice an appetizer or desert! Breakfast is excellent: lots of choice, good bread, Nespresso coffee, a lot of cheese choises (I'm not a cheese fan, but if you are, you will love this place). Overall: very good hotel, I will book this one again if I'm in the area

Stayed here for business 3 nights. Tip - make sure you select the standard room - a "bungalow" is not a standard room - it is a small room with a bed and an adjoining bathroom (and no Internet). Stayed here for business 3 nights. Tip - make sure you select the standard room - a "bungalow" is not a standard room - it is a small room with a bed and an adjoining bathroom (and no Internet). The "normal" rooms are huge - about the largest I have ever stayed in world wide. Breakfast buffet great. Dinner: service very slow, limited menu, but very nice atmosphere. I was not able to partake in the sauna or pool, but my colleagues told me they were very nice.

This Hotel was originally the guesthouse for East German senior politicians and was hidden in the forest next toa lake but with a main line connection (Warnitz) just 1 km away for quick transfers. This Hotel was originally the guesthouse for East German senior politicians and was hidden in the forest next toa lake but with a main line connection (Warnitz) just 1 km away for quick transfers. Huge rooms - fron to back lounge with large TV plus two further bedrooms and very large bathroom in room 13. Verygood dinners in upper diningroom and satisfactory breakfast in room below. Newspapers on display are for purchase unlike all other German Hotels which pass then out freely. WiFi very good with password from reception which is only open 8.00am to 7.00pm. Lovely lakeside setting for watersports and relaxation. We gather from others that there is a very good spa and pool in the basement. Huge bathrobes in garish yettlow and canvas bag of towels availablr totake away for 25 Euros as a souvenier.
