“Friendly hotel in beautiful art-historical setting with top service”
It's a modernist hotel so at first sight might not seem the obvious candidate for a visit to the Jugendstil/Art Nouveau area of Darmstadt, the former artists' colony known as the Mathildenhoehe. “Nice with a personal twist”
Nice rooms without much ado like water boilers (but ordering tea and coffee isn't expensive). And the rooms are named after a famous pop star. So we didn't mind sharing the spacious room with its nice balcony with Justin Timberlake.

“Good hotel but difficult to find!”
On our visit the signage had not been put fully in place so drivers need to be vigilant in order to spot the entrance. This was a nice modern airy hotel.
