“Great food, nice staff”
We stayed in "Gasthof zur Post" for one night. After a long day in Munich we were happy to find a lovely lady at reception and some amazing food at the hotel restaurant. “Rural , but convenient!”
This quaint post hotel was 15 min from Andechs monestary and 15 min from ammersee. Inexpensive, and quaint. Great breakfast and nice little beer garden. “Small room, restaurant was closed”
We stayed here for one night while walking the King Ludwig's Way. We arrived at lunch time 1pm, but told Wednesday was their quiet day so not serving any food. The only option in the village is a bakery...not the best as we were hiking, so stuck there and hungry. Room was small with no balcony...co… lisää

“Quaint little boutique hotel in the heart of Bavaria”
Yep, the guy that checked me in was wearing lederhosen. There are dairy cows in the back of the building. The rooms are nicely appointed however and the breakfast is good. The town dates to 1444. It is a cute place and something that would be great as part of a tour.

“Should be better for the price.”
Set in a small village in the middle of countryside just a few minutes drive from a nice lake. Free parking. Cute hotel and restaurant which falls short because of a lack of attention to detail.
