“A Proper Hotel”

Fantastic hotel. It’s the second time I’ve stayed here in a month due to work. The staff are just amazing, rooms are clean and fresh, the food is great. It’s a proper traditional hotel with lots of character the way they all should be. Definitely not one to miss.

We got placed in this hotel by Lufthansa after we missed our flight connection at Frankfurt/M airport, and had to stay overnight. We got placed in this hotel by Lufthansa after we missed our flight connection at Frankfurt/M airport, and had to stay overnight. We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel starting from our arrival in the middle of the night, as the staff were extremely helpful in accommodating us, since we arrived without any luggage. We got a nice quirky room on the "Adventure Floor", called the "Bamboo Room" (see pictures). We ended up enjoying our stay thoroughly, including the very extensive and delicious breakfast. The style of the hotel is very German, meaning a bit quirky and old-fashioned decor, but very well maintained and clean throughout.

A very charming hotel I had a theme room with a funky sofa of a classic Mercedes Very clean and good desk with ample sockets to work at Excellent food in the bar and all the staff I met were charming and helpful Will stay again

The Hotel Sonnenhof is a very consistent hotel. I have been staying at the Sonnenhof since 1996. Our last visit there in October found the hotel just as well maintained and solid as our first visit years ago. This property has many venues to suit various activities. First, it is really a hotel for business travelers. The second, it offers wonderful venues for weddings and receptions and general large gatherings. The rooms are quite comfortable. Good beds and bedding. The bathrooms are on the small side! There is a very interesting section of the hotel called The "Adventure Rooms" quite surprising! If you stay there ask for one of these! The hotel has a wonderful and plentiful breakfast that comes with the room. On Sunday and all-day brunch theat is well attended by local residents. The main dining room serves very good and well prepaired dishes.The is also a beer garden outdoors. The parking is free. Only thing strange is for a hotel that caters to business travelers, there is no section with computers or business center. The hotel has good Wi-Fi. Dietzenbach is certainly not a tourest center, however, if in this area The Sonnenhof Hotel is an excellent place to stay.
