Stayed at the hotel during our recent trip to Europe. Prices were very competitive (esp. for a family of 4) and as we wanted to be sure we can park our car without paying extra fees, we reserved on their website. Stayed at the hotel during our recent trip to Europe. Prices were very competitive (esp. for a family of 4) and as we wanted to be sure we can park our car without paying extra fees, we reserved on their website. The staff responded very swiftly and was also very nice and forthcoming when we arrived. They are very friendly and what was important to us: they were knowledgeable about Mannheim, Heidelberg, the Bergstrasse, the Weinstrasse and the other surrounding areas. They gave us great tips on what to see and do, where to go, where to eat, etc. It's all very easily accessible. We used the tram to explore Mannheim which was a quick and actually quite scenic ride (over the river, by the water tower and the city's gigantic palace, right into the city center). We also used the car to visit Weinheim (15 minutes away), Heidelberg (20 minutes), a wine fest near Bad Duerkheim, etc. The room itself is simple but very clean, quiet, spacious, with TV, etc. One evening we had dinner at the hotel, which was also great. So overall, this was probably the best hotel during our trip to Germany. We definitely want to go back to Mannheim and Heidelberg, and if we do, then we'll stay here again.

We were at our wits end trying to find a hotel in the area of Bad Burkheim. We wanted to visit the huge sausage and wine festival and soon found that any hotels in the direct area were sold out. We were at our wits end trying to find a hotel in the area of Bad Burkheim. We wanted to visit the huge sausage and wine festival and soon found that any hotels in the direct area were sold out. Good luck for us. This hotel was a great find. The staff were helpful and attentive, breakfast was good, free parking, free internet and only about 20 minutes to the wine country. Very good value for your money.

Simple but good hotel. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Simple, clean but small rooms but everything is avalable. The hotel exists of two buildings. If you want a quit room take a room in the separate building (rooms with number 5). The hotel has a bar and a restaurant were simple but cheap meals are being served. The value for4 money rate is high to mine opinion. Breakfast is wealthy of choise.
