“We couldn't have been more happy with our choice”

We had a very pleasant stay at the Strandhotel Heringsdorf! The hotel is perfectly situated and just a few steps from the beach. We had a very pleasant stay at the Strandhotel Heringsdorf! The hotel is perfectly situated and just a few steps from the beach. Our room had a fantastic view on the ocean and was very clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The service and staff in the Strandhotel was excellent, very friendly and helpful. My partner especially enjoyed the panoramic sauna from which one can overlook the sea and where they do infusions twice a day. The food in the local restaurant was delicious and well priced, again with excellent service and staff. We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and couldn’t have been more satisfied.

“Wonderful German seaside stay”

This is a great hotel in a great seaside resort. All the staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and competent, and coped with our lousy German language skills. The whole hotel was meticulously clean. The room was small but seemed spacious enough. The in-room safe was too small for a lap… lisää

This is a great hotel in a great seaside resort. All the staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and competent, and coped with our lousy German language skills. The whole hotel was meticulously clean. The room was small but seemed spacious enough. The in-room safe was too small for a laptop. We had a small balcony with chairs facing the sea (hidden by trees), from which we could watch the world passing by (on foot, bike, scooter, and skates). Molton Brown toiletries. The hot water was VERY hot and could scald, if you are not careful. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge assortment of fruit, sausage, and fish, as well as an omelette station, juice machine, waffle iron, and many cheeses, yoghurts and quark. Coffee was good too, but the best thing about breakfast was the staff, who greeted everyone with a smile and gave us a great start for the day. We rented very good bikes from the hotel and cycled about 4km east to Poland, and 4 km west to Bansin., along the Strand Promenade - very enjoyable. There are indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and a sauna.

“Quaint Hotel Needing A Little More Energy”

Nice hotel and appointed rooms, we had a 4 day stay with the kids. Great breakfast and peaceful area close to the beach. Lackluster service, keep in mind this is the former DDR and the staff are very slow and rather inattentive, almost bored, so that took away from its charm. Auto parking is an iss… lisää

Nice hotel and appointed rooms, we had a 4 day stay with the kids. Great breakfast and peaceful area close to the beach. Lackluster service, keep in mind this is the former DDR and the staff are very slow and rather inattentive, almost bored, so that took away from its charm. Auto parking is an issue. We were told we had to book a parking spot prior to coming to the hotel and no valet. You need to park at the train station for 5 Euros a night and walk 10 minutes. Overall a fair stay, but they need an infusion of energy and some more smiles.
