Comfortable stay , however no one available at night after 10. So call upfront and inform so that you get the key. Near the key places in Mulheim and helpful staff. Checkout time is also an advantage _ 12 pm.So if you have late meetings you can stay in your room till then. The receptionist is also very helpful and spoke Tamil apart from German and Englsh, which was really helpful for me.

“Good sized room, central to Mulheim town and river front”

Enjoyed our overnight stay at the Friederike. Good sized room and bathroom, all very clean, on the ground floor for the new(er) annexe building. Pity the garden is overgrown, meaning very little natural light in the room.

Stayed 2 nights and found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size with firm beds and a powerful shower. Lovely view facing the garden and stunning property opposite. No fridge or kettle but did have a hairdryer and large windows that opened fully which were needed as room was stifling hot but we did stay during a heatwave. Beware of mosquitoes though! Could’ve done with a fan really. Parking on site but limited spaces although paid street parking available opposite. Location was good; close to river Ruhr - try Franky’s for good food and the nearby ice cream parlour! Town centre only 10 mins walk and more restaurants there. Breakfast was very good, nice selection. Not the quietest hotel, can hear other guests in corridors/stairwell very clearly and some road noise and we were facing the rear of the property. No lift at this hotel, may be tricky with much luggage.

“Small and cozy place”

The Friederike Hotel is a small but very cozy and comfortable place to stay! I had a normal room, with a nice bathroom, but some co-workers had a 2 floor bedroom with a nice sitting room on the bottom and a sleeping room upstairs. The Friederike Hotel is a small but very cozy and comfortable place to stay! I had a normal room, with a nice bathroom, but some co-workers had a 2 floor bedroom with a nice sitting room on the bottom and a sleeping room upstairs. The bed was very comfortable, but only had a duvet for cover and it was a bit hot. The staff was helpful, the breakfast was nice and diverse (didn't have a choice of alternitive food - vegan, gluten free, etc.). The breakfast room was pretty charming!

Stopped for one night. The hotel in the old house is cozy, the room is clean, everything is necessary, but next to a noisy street, so the window should not open. Stopped for one night. The hotel in the old house is cozy, the room is clean, everything is necessary, but next to a noisy street, so the window should not open. TV - many cable channels that are not available, the small screen itself. The bathroom is rather narrow, especially for full people. The special charm of the hotel at its breakfast: a beautiful view through the window to the garden, a peaceful atmosphere. Impressions spoil the fullness of breakfast - a small selection of hot dishes, breakfast thanks to this sports a positive impression of the atmosphere.
