“Happy and content Stay!”

We stayed at the Apartment in the Hotel. It’s quite spacious with a large bathroom and a small storage room for the bags. We stayed at the Apartment in the Hotel. It’s quite spacious with a large bathroom and a small storage room for the bags. Located on the 2nd floor (there are no lifts), with a high ceiling, we enjoyed our 6 day stay! Amenities in the room included a fridge, microwave, Nespresso and a kettle. Lots of cutlery and crockery too. The Hotel is located at walking distance from Hangelar Mitte railway station, so traveling to Bonn or Sankt Augustin was very easy. Breakfast at the Restaurant downstairs was good, and we liked the good selection of tea! The restaurant also is open in the evening on most week days and we ate there one evening. Service and food were good. Have to mention that cleanliness at the property is of a high standard, room cleaning is done everyday. A few umbrellas were available at the exit which we found useful during the unusually wet summer. We will definitely say here in case we happen to visit the area again!

“Nice Hotel for a short stay”

Hotel situated in a nice quiet suburban area, we arrived by Taxi from the airport. Walking distance to St Augustine centre. Fine breakfast and nice bar at the Hotel. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for guests arriving with own aircraft to EDKB.

Stayed at Hotel Hangelar for 5 nights for Business. The location of the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and quite close to the town that has several restaurants, bakeries, and shops. Stayed at Hotel Hangelar for 5 nights for Business. The location of the hotel is in a quiet neighborhood and quite close to the town that has several restaurants, bakeries, and shops. However, do take note that they close quite early except for the restaurants. And plus they close on the weekend. Train station quite close just 5 minutes walking if you want to go to Bonn (15minutes) or Cologne ( 1 hour or so). Room is quite basic with no a/c facilities, bathroom normal and nothing much to complain and towels are clean. However, a water bottle is only given on the day of arrival and if you need more either buy at the Bar which is quite expensive or walks to the nearest shop. Breakfast is quite nice and delicious. The staff is quite friendly and helpful and able to speak in English. Overall a wonderful stay at Hangelar Hotel.

“Good value ”

Stayed at the Hotel Hangelar for 6 nights. Rooms were basic but comfortable. No lockable safe in the rooms. And the shower cubicle was very small. But for the price these were small draw backs. Stayed at the Hotel Hangelar for 6 nights. Rooms were basic but comfortable. No lockable safe in the rooms. And the shower cubicle was very small. But for the price these were small draw backs. Rooms against the main road were quite noisy with traffic noise early in the morning. Hotel restaurant is not open over weekends and many of the local restaurants were closed. But we did have adequate choices for the time there. Breakfast at the hotel was good.
