“Perfect for Christmas Market stay”

Lovely clean modern hotel with self check in/out. Breakfast served until 10am (chargeable but reasonable prices). Booked a quadruple room, on arrival I was upgraded to 2 double rooms for no reason. Lovely clean modern hotel with self check in/out. Breakfast served until 10am (chargeable but reasonable prices). Booked a quadruple room, on arrival I was upgraded to 2 double rooms for no reason. Lovely spacious rooms nice bathroom, really good hairdryer! No tea or coffee facility in the room though, however when the cafe closes you can purchase bottles of water, beers or cola from the self serve fridge in reception (by the locker) for only €2. Lockers available in the lobby. Staff are very helpful and friendly however you may not seen them often as this hotel is do it yourself but I’m sure they’re on hand if need be. Hotel location is good for the Xmas markets. Postrade underground is across the road taking you around the city, easy to use and no need to purchase a ticket, no one checks..only 15 mins from cologne Bonn airport, taxi or Uber about €40. great stay would recommend

“Would one constant member of staff be too much to ask for?”

Great hotel for the money, not so sure about a staff-less hotel being a great idea, not the hotels fault but lots of noise coming from neighbouring rooms late at night and early mornings, on our second day of our break we were chilling in the room in the morning taking our time as you do on holiday… lisää

Great hotel for the money, not so sure about a staff-less hotel being a great idea, not the hotels fault but lots of noise coming from neighbouring rooms late at night and early mornings, on our second day of our break we were chilling in the room in the morning taking our time as you do on holiday, 8:55 we got a chap on the door from a guy telling us he “had” to clean our room and we had five / ten minutes to get out, this is unusual and we felt a bit rushed plus he never had any uniform just his civilian clothes. Decor is quirky and a bit funky, no kettle for that morning coffee was a bit disappointing.

“Humans are underrated!”

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting a trade show. It is located close to the city centre that is only a 15-20 walk away so very convenient in the evenings with good restaurants and bars close by. My room was clean with a spacious bathroom, however it was very hot and the air con didn’t seam… lisää

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting a trade show. It is located close to the city centre that is only a 15-20 walk away so very convenient in the evenings with good restaurants and bars close by. My room was clean with a spacious bathroom, however it was very hot and the air con didn’t seam to do anything. Opening the windows helped overcome this but does expose you to the traffic noise outside. Also I’m not sure why the double bed has two single duvets on it, would have been better to just have one double duvet. Despite that the bed was comfortable and I did sleep well. Not sure I’m sold on the “none human” concept despite having no issues checking in. Some of our party were staying around the corner at the Premier Inn which does employ humans so if you can get in here for a similar price that would be our preference next time.
