Brilliant place to stay, the hotel is in Elsen, about a 15 minutes bus journey to Paderborn. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, everything we asked for we got straight away. Brilliant place to stay, the hotel is in Elsen, about a 15 minutes bus journey to Paderborn. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, everything we asked for we got straight away. The breakfast was continental but still lots of things to eat. The small bar was very welcoming, the bar staff had excellent English. The room we stayed in was very modern and really clean. We have key to the front door so could come and go as we pleased. The bus is almost outside the hotel and is an excellent service coming every fifteen minutes. We would without hesitation stay there again.

Excellent value for money - one particular member of staff was excellent 'Mickey' she was helpful had great customer service and couldn't be more helpful. Which outweighed some of the more miserable member of staff (owners daughter) Thankfully Mickey was more than enough to compensate - brilliant… lisää

Excellent value for money - one particular member of staff was excellent 'Mickey' she was helpful had great customer service and couldn't be more helpful. Which outweighed some of the more miserable member of staff (owners daughter) Thankfully Mickey was more than enough to compensate - brilliant employee I just hope she is value. The hotel was very old but in a good way - very clean and the food albeit a small menu - excellent value and quality. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a straight forward hotel. Will stay again.

“Great breakfast. ”

I stayed in the Kaiserpfalz for one night whilst in the area on a business trip. I arrived on a Sunday evening - reception isn't permanently manned at the weekends but I was able to give them a call and collect my key from a coded lock box by the door. No issue here. The room was small and basic.… lisää

I stayed in the Kaiserpfalz for one night whilst in the area on a business trip. I arrived on a Sunday evening - reception isn't permanently manned at the weekends but I was able to give them a call and collect my key from a coded lock box by the door. No issue here. The room was small and basic. Basic furniture and quite dated. However for a business trip this was absolutely fine. The bathroom had been remodeled more recently and was in very good condition. The breakfast was excellent - lots of choice. Delicious Yogurt with fruit stored In little jars. Bacon and bread for bacon rolls. Excellent. Price reasonable. Overall - recommended. 4 dots out of 5.

“Good hotel let down by lack of Restaurant and bar”

Stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel looks like a block of flats from the outside, but when you go inside, it’s nothing like the outside, it’s a typical German hotel. It’s a lovely hotel room was good clean and it had a great shower, the lady who checked us in insisted we put our motorbike in there … lisää

Stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel looks like a block of flats from the outside, but when you go inside, it’s nothing like the outside, it’s a typical German hotel. It’s a lovely hotel room was good clean and it had a great shower, the lady who checked us in insisted we put our motorbike in there garage, even made room for it , we where treated very well here. Breakfast was very nice simple but nice, the reason for my lower score to Average is the restaurant and bar where closed, this is a small town it does have an Italian restaurant close by but also closed only option for a meal at night was a doner kabab shop or a Chinese both of these where poor and not really an evening meal choice I would normally eat at. Now I know this is not the fault of hotel, but a hotel needs a restaurant and a bar for its guests. If I had known this I would not have booked it. Never the less this is a good hotel being let down buy the lack of a restaurant and bar. If the restaurant had been open I’m sure the food would have been first class as was the surroundings
