“Nice hotel”

A small hotel on the edge of the village with direct access to beautiful woodlands. Not luxurious, but comfortable enough. We stayed there with two dogs. We had the family room, which was large and well appointed. Both the main beds and the sofa bed were of good quality. Friendly staff and owner. T… lisää

A small hotel on the edge of the village with direct access to beautiful woodlands. Not luxurious, but comfortable enough. We stayed there with two dogs. We had the family room, which was large and well appointed. Both the main beds and the sofa bed were of good quality. Friendly staff and owner. The surroundings and views are beautiful and one can walk forever. The hotel has a charging facility for electric bicycles, not for electric cars, however. The only drawback is the proximity of the Bundesstrasse. in winter not a problem, in summer one may get some traffic noise. Breakfast was very good. Note: The Suite has no curtains, but then, the view is so beautiful that one would probably not close them anyway.

“Quiet in picturesque setting”

I only had a one night stop here but it was more than satisfactory. The room was clean and fully equipped. Wifi is free but you are limited to 4GB unless you pay. I only had a one night stop here but it was more than satisfactory. The room was clean and fully equipped. Wifi is free but you are limited to 4GB unless you pay. It was incredibly quiet both in the surroundings and in the hotel. This time of the year it can be fairly misty. Otherwise, I'm told the views of the surrounding countryside are very beautiful. The breakfast buffet was simple but adequate.

“Great location, chaotic staff ”

This place is in an excellent location. Loads of free parking available. From the hotel you can walk straight into the hohe mark nature reserve. The views across the fields are to die for. There is a lovely flower garden and they have two terraces. We decided to have a meal so got a table outside. … lisää

This place is in an excellent location. Loads of free parking available. From the hotel you can walk straight into the hohe mark nature reserve. The views across the fields are to die for. There is a lovely flower garden and they have two terraces. We decided to have a meal so got a table outside. We had to wait for 20 minutes before someone came to serve us. More people arrived but service was so slow people just gave up and left. People ordering kaffee und kuchen got the kuchen but no coffee! After another 25 minute wait the food arrived. My cold salmon was nice. The hubby ordered schnitzel with garden vegetables and kartoffelsalat for 17€ which is not cheap for german standards. The salad was boiled potatoes with raw onions. Very disappointing no flavour, no herbs. Still the location is really nice but sensing € 32 for mediocre food was a pity.
