“Great stay”

I was very happy with our choice of the Stoffels. The room was huge!! The bathroom was renovated and the bed was very comfortable. We had a great breakfast in the morning and had dinner there both nights of our stay. Food was excellent. They seem to be short staffed but service was good regardless. Wi Fi was intermittant. Would recommend.

“Great German hospitality”

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, with his sister and her son of eight years old. We had a very good time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, also to our nephew. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, with his sister and her son of eight years old. We had a very good time. The staff is very friendly and helpful, also to our nephew. The hotel and our rooms (22 and 23) were very clean and spacious. Especially the bathrooms were very large, both with a bath and separate shower. The rooms are very light too, with large windows that can open up completely or tilt for a safer childfriendly setting. The boxspringbeds are of good quality, but very soft. Breakfast was very enjoyable with 3 types of bread, boiled and scrambled eggs, cheeses and meats, fresh fruit, tomatoes/cucumber/peppers, jams/honey/Nutella, pots of yoghurt, cereals, milk and orange juice and teas and coffees. The quietly situated breakfastroom is on the first floor and is very light. We did not use the very cosy bar area as the weather was so good that we only used the terrace. We enjoyed sitting there with a beer or a lemonade. And we ordered their schnitzels and super delicious potatoeslices from the oven (with small pieces of bacon and onion). Stoffels has been a Gasthof since 1691, which means that the building has a beautiful historical quality. It breathes history and together with the hospitality of the staff this makes for a very enjoyable stay. We will be back!

“Decent lunch”

We didn't stay at the hotel but had lunch outside instead. The service is friendly, swift and they serve a very decent lunch for a decent price. Good place to sit on the terrace as well in the side street.

“Pleasant stay”

This hotel is very nice, but could do with some tlc in the rooms, as they are a little "lived in". However, the hotel is on the Main Street so very easy to find. Parking for the motorcycle was interesting as we had to slot it in a small space at the rear of the hotel, and it is a big bike! The r… lisää

This hotel is very nice, but could do with some tlc in the rooms, as they are a little "lived in". However, the hotel is on the Main Street so very easy to find. Parking for the motorcycle was interesting as we had to slot it in a small space at the rear of the hotel, and it is a big bike! The room was spacious and the bathroom large, with a bath (although marked so not inviting) and a sauna attached! The bed was very comfy although only one pillow which was not very supportive. A big plus was proper glasses and tissues in the bathroom. Free wifi is available but did not work so well in our room. We ate at the restaurant and the food and the service were very good. All in all a very pleasant stay and we would use this hotel again.
