Good hotel, rooms a little dated but clean and big. Beds comfortable. Has a really good bar downstairs called lohmi’s pub which was very nice. Breakfast was meats and cheese with a cooked egg option. Hotel was close to transport links and had a bus stop directly outside taking you to Solingen station which had good links to leverkusen and Cologne. Trains were unreliable in evenings so we got an Uber back from cologne a couple of evenings which was around 40 euros. Owners and staff were very friendly and helpful.

“Good for business stay in Dusseldorf area”

good and clean. we stayed there in May during the Interpack fair for one week. 25 minutes drive from the fair. the area is quiet. access to main road is easy. Breakfast was great and workers were efficient and helpfull.

“B&B 3 stars hotel”

Even though the hotel tries to position itself as business hotel, it is a typical 3 stars B&B German hotel. Rooms are quite small and old fashioned. Breakfast is average, lacking homellete for eg. WiFi is terrible: extremelly slow when connecting, and unstable. I could not connect my laptop on it.

The location is OK. Easy to find, even without GPS. It is a small hotel with large rooms. clean facilities and parking lot. Personnel: good command of English (some funny translations, e.g. sauna = hot room ;-) ). On one occasion, we arrived and asked for extra internet access and the young lady at the front desk got pissed off as she had to print several little papers (login/password) for each one of the devices we had... there was a guy around (probably her boyfriend), anyway, she had no patience. The guy at the breakfast room is very polite. Breakfast: limited choices...very standard. German breakfasts are typically richer. Water pressure: very good. Toilet: small but clean. Negative points: extremely noisy (due to main road traffic); there is no air conditioning: so you simply have a terrible night during the summer-like days.

Nothing too fancy, just a good and clean hotel if you are on a business trip. I had the impression that this was more like an annex for the hotel up the street. Nonetheless, the staff is friendly and the breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit and bread. Free parking is also nice as is the free… lisää

Nonetheless, the staff is friendly and the breakfast was good with lots of fresh fruit and bread. Free parking is also nice as is the free WiFi. During the summer the rooms are very hot making my rating for sleep quality poor.
