Had to go to Oschersleben several times in the past year for different events on or around the track (which I won't review because the coffee isn't good enough) but always found the Motorsport Arena Hotel to be welcoming, clean and efficient. They don't have aircon, so the hot summers can get tricky, but they do seem to have unlimited supply of cold beverages in the restaurant and bar area, so that'll help you through. Marking it at 4 stars is pushing it. The rooms are clean, you do get a minibar and a TV, but that's about it. A very simple, effective and comfortable (beds are good and comfy) stay. The location is this hotel's best selling point for people who need to be at the track. I'll be back. I will have to be. The staff are also nice enough and welcoming. English is hit and miss but they are friendly and want to help so that more than makes up for it. Breakfast is a a buffet which of course is repetitive but that's in the nature of the beast. Decent produce and ok-ish filter coffee ready for you on the table. Again... job done. That seems to be the theme of the place.

“Directly at the racetrack”

Convenient hotel for racers and visitors, modern rooms, some of them with direct view on the track, good restaurant and outdoor seating on the terrace, great buffet style breakfast with a lot of choices

From my window there was only about 5 meters to the raceway. Clean and nice. Both dinner buffe and breakfast was good. Maybe not a place to stay many night but if you are racing or just passing by, it´s a good place to stay.

“Nice hotel but far away from 4 star”

Clean with a really nice breakfast and the staff is also friendly. But no A/C in the year 2016 as a 4 star hotel? WiFi is ok and the location next to the race track is convenient. Overall a pleasant experience but I wouldn't wanna stay here on a hot summer day

“Convenient”

Great if you're racing/ watching at the cicuit. It's clean & functional, staff friendly & helpful. Food is good basic German food, & better than expected, would happily eat there again. Schnitzel was really good, currywurst good & asparagus good. Nothing fancy but all tasty :) Great views of cicu… lisää

Schnitzel was really good, currywurst good & asparagus good. Nothing fancy but all tasty :) Great views of cicuit & u can walk to the paddock in a few mins. Down point was that the bar is full smoking area so I ended up going to bed early just because I couldn't put up with the smoke any more (I wasn't only one commenting on that) Free parking & wifi is bonus :)
