“A very good over night stop”

We arrived at the hotel after a long hot day on a motorcycle and were shown to a very nice double room. It had a very good modern bathroom with an excellent shower. We arrived at the hotel after a long hot day on a motorcycle and were shown to a very nice double room. It had a very good modern bathroom with an excellent shower. In the room were two bottles of mineral water and a small bottle of wine. There was also a kettle and some tea bags. We ate in the outside garden under a grape vine. The steak was excellent and the wine very reasonably priced. Breakfast was buffet style with everything that you would expect. Parking was available but no garages. The village is very much into wine production in interesting to walk around. I would highly recommend this as on overnight stop only a few minutes from the A61 motorway.

“Birthday celebration”

Excellent location for celebrations and owners do all they can to make you feel "home from home". The quality of the kitchen/restaurant is exceptional and the wines of course are from their own cellars.

Stayed here for one night while travelling from Calais to Mayrhofen. Stayed here for one night while travelling from Calais to Mayrhofen. Very conveniently located 5 minutes from the motorway in a quiet wine-making village.We upgraded to the suite in the tower which was very unusual having a spiral staircase from the lobby up to the bedroom. When we arrived there was no one on reception and my husband had to go and find someone so we could check in, but think that was probably due to it being a small guest house. We were taken to our room by a lady who couldn't speak English very well but we got the just of everything. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and again the language barrier was a bit of an issue but we managed to make ourselves understood eventually and the food was excellent, as was the wine. and both very good value. Would definitely recommend.

“Sleep between the vines”

Right in the middle of a large wine growing area. When you walk outside the hotel you can see the many varieties of grapes they grow here and the hotel lets you taste all the (more then 20 different) wines they produce at retail prices. Right in the middle of a large wine growing area. When you walk outside the hotel you can see the many varieties of grapes they grow here and the hotel lets you taste all the (more then 20 different) wines they produce at retail prices. A nice touch. The restaurant is fine. The tower room is something special - two floors and you feel like knight overlooking the grounds when you look outside. Great beds and bathroom and plenty of space.
