6 of us on a three day golfing weekend - booked in advance , half board including 2 x 18 holes on Sat & Sun. We all had suites , couple of us paid extra for a view overlooking the large lake. I read and support the very good review from TripAdvisor 'london007' except for the gripe about there not being any hair conditioner! The hotel staff were very polite & friendly - our group of six had a good rapport with the dining room & bar staff - especially evenings at the bar with Robin & Evelyn. Order a 7yrs or 15yrs Rum and watch Robin work his magic with the blue flame going from one glass to another before your rum gets served! Half board included buffet dinners - the choice was ok to good but not over the top. My gripe was at breakfast were you had to wait too long for fried eggs to be cooked and brought into the dining room - they should be in ready supply for the guest. We had a warm/homely experience during our stay, we'll be back next year probably in the summer.

“Lovely hotel, great location - excellent food”

I recently stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for a small conference then my company were staying on for a golf event on the Saturday. I recently stayed at the hotel for 3 nights for a small conference then my company were staying on for a golf event on the Saturday. It is just over an hour's drive from Frankfurt Airport - you are then right in the middle of beautiful countryside. The hotel over looks a lake and is very peaceful and tranquil. My room (if you can call it that) surprised me. Basically a large lounge, double doors into a huge bedroom with separate bathroom off the lounge - more like a small suite, both the bedroom and lounge had double doors you could open onto a small juliette balcony. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. My only gripe, if you can call is that, is that like a lot of hotels in Germany they only provide shampoo and body wash/shampoo so if you want conditioner etc please take with you. I asked reception who kindly found me a bottle that a guest had left so was happy and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Our meeting was booked in a fabulous room in the grounds with a separate eating area which the staff kept fully stocked with food and goodies, coffee making machine, tea etc all available. We also had dinner one night in their private dinning room and what a dinner - wonderful setting, wonderful food and great attentive staff. Majority of us had their house special 300g rump steak, cooked to perfection and as tender as tender can be. If there is a group of you then definitely worth booking. Breakfast was a you would expect, large choice, I also noticed they had an excellent buffet selection for lunch. I have no idea what the golf course is like as I don't play but all that did were very happy and thought the course excellent. Lovely hotel, lovely grounds, great food and very accommodating staff.

“Big yet cosy hotel”

Very nice setting in the middle of nature, next to a big lake. Very elegant decor and good facilities. Spacious public spaces and rooms. Food and service were excellent. We had booked a package with team activity (agency contact shared by the hotel) and this was excellent too. Overall a short but a… lisää

Unfortunately we did not have the time to use the spa so will need to return!

“Prolonged golfweekend”

We had a wonderful stay at Weisensee. Breakfast was lushious, the rooms were "grande". Corona made the visit somewhat awkward, putting on an of the facemasks. We had a wonderful stay at Weisensee. Breakfast was lushious, the rooms were "grande". Corona made the visit somewhat awkward, putting on an of the facemasks. The golfcourse was challenging and very nice, well groomed and very helpfull people. A short surprise at our first tee-off. We were accompanied by another couple, while no-one had told us we were with four.Due to Corona normal essentials such as coffee, waterboiler, informationmap ect were removed from the room. And a special note about the beds: we've slept in more than an recent share of all kinds of accomodations. the beds are in our top 3 of all time best beds. Wonderfull. we did'nt use the spa.
