“Great value for money”

This place is centrally located, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is very good. Normally you have to pay quite a lot of money for such a hotel. But not here! 95 euro for three adults. You really can't find better value for money. Thumbs up and thanks for a great stat at Halle.

We stayed in this hotel March 31 - April 4, 2015. We wanted to get a hotel that would comfortably accommodate 3 people in one room. This hotel fit the bill - we had one double bed (2 singles pushed together), and one single bed. The view out our window (room 31) of the Leipziger Turm (tower) was great, and the location was very close to old town. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive, and great. The double bed was pretty comfortable, but our daughter said the single bed mattress was very hard. The bathroom is ok - clean, but predictably small. There is wifi access - make sure to ask at the front desk for and get the weeklong access rather than the 24 hour access - I wa accidentally given that one! Would definitely stay here again.

“Best possile value for money”

Not a luxury hotel, but a clean and nice hotel and -best of all - with a VERY friendly staff with a nice humour. The breakfast is very nice with everything you can possibly ask for, including fresh fruit. The location may not be the very best if you expect green fields, nice lakes and other kinds o… lisää

The location may not be the very best if you expect green fields, nice lakes and other kinds of unspoiled nature, but in less than a minute, you're in the main shopping street, Leipziger Strasse.

“Location & Budget with some compromises”

We were visiting friends during the Handel festival and wanted to be close to the old town and also the train station. The location was excellent and it was easy to meet friends and to walk to everything. We had accepted the last room, a 3 bedroom suite, at a ridiculously low price. Breakfast here… lisää

We were visiting friends during the Handel festival and wanted to be close to the old town and also the train station. The location was excellent and it was easy to meet friends and to walk to everything. We had accepted the last room, a 3 bedroom suite, at a ridiculously low price. Breakfast here was good and the staff members were pleasant and accommodating. The woman who supervised breakfast, knew I was a coffee lover and had my coffee pot and milk to me in a jiffy after the first day. We did not try the restaurant when it was open for lunch or on some days, dinner, but local people as well as tourists patronized it. The hotel is a bit rundown and it is old, but not charming. From a peek into other rooms, they were Euro style rooms slightly more updated than ours, but with similar very small bathrooms. Our "suite" did have 3 bedrooms but only one closet in the entryway and one very tiny bath with shower. The entrances to room, bath and bedrooms included at least three uneven areas that we continually tripped over and found a bit dangerous. We made do. If you are on a budget and need to house a lot of people our suite might work for you as it was inexpensive...but there is no air conditioning at the hotel, no minibar, no room service, no phones in room and the lobby hours are very limited. There is free internet but ours only worked in certain areas of the "apartment." The materials placed in the room and the notices put up when the lobby is closed are in German.
