This hotel came as quite a surprise! I booked on line and it said it was 0.3 m form the centre. I foolishly walked and it must have been 2 miles [uphill]. The hotel itself is huge with 7 floors. This hotel came as quite a surprise! I booked on line and it said it was 0.3 m form the centre. I foolishly walked and it must have been 2 miles [uphill]. The hotel itself is huge with 7 floors. Conferences and coach tours I suspect. The dining room had a buffet dinner going on but - as not part of a tour - I was not allowed in. Had a reasonable meal in the bar area with much reasonable wine. Breakfast was OK although very much the same in most hotels these days. Very busy. Room good but donw miles of corridors. All sorts of facilities which I did not use, pool and so on.

“Old school never gets old”

Yes, its seen better days, yes, we have experienced larger rooms, and yes, sometimes in the main season the service is challenged by the hugh amount of people staying there, but it is very well organized, clean, super friendly and perfectly situated next to the slopes. Yes, its seen better days, yes, we have experienced larger rooms, and yes, sometimes in the main season the service is challenged by the hugh amount of people staying there, but it is very well organized, clean, super friendly and perfectly situated next to the slopes. We really enjoyed our one week family vacation and recommend the hotel for families with young kids.

“Outdated design in a good location”

The hotel is located right next to the ski slopes in Oberwisenthal with great views of the mountains. The hotel is quite outdated in its design, with small, basic rooms. However, breakfast was great, and the staff was generally good, though they only speak German. The indoor pool is a nice plus. W… lisää

However, breakfast was great, and the staff was generally good, though they only speak German. The indoor pool is a nice plus. WiFi was free but didn't work so well.

“Great location and entertainment. ”

For skiing, this hotel is ideal. 50m from the rear entrance starts the ski hill. Ski rentals are even on site. We booked half board and I have been impressed with the meal selection. Entertainment was available most evenings for both kids and adults. The only problem was our double room was extreme… lisää

For skiing, this hotel is ideal. 50m from the rear entrance starts the ski hill. Ski rentals are even on site. We booked half board and I have been impressed with the meal selection. Entertainment was available most evenings for both kids and adults. The only problem was our double room was extremely small. We booked with an extra bed that pulled out from the double bed. With that out, there was absolutely no place for anything else. The bathrooms were just as tiny. But if you are here to ski and be entertained, this is a great place at a decent price. Big shout out to the hotel staff as well who helped me get my car unstuck from the parking lot!!! All the staff were extremely friendly and mostly bilingual or trilingual with english, Czech, and german.
