“Lovely location and hotel”

We stayed here for four nights and it was nice and quiet stay. Just like we have hoped. Our room was nice and supper clean like the rest of the hotel. We stayed here for four nights and it was nice and quiet stay. Just like we have hoped. Our room was nice and supper clean like the rest of the hotel. The Spa area worked well with the amount of quest during our stay. The indoor pool is not that big but the sauna in the tower has an excellent view. We had the evening food included and I would say our exceptions was not fully met here. For me the food was basic, something I would see in a cafeteria. The food was tasty but for me the quality of the food did not mach the hotel. A lot of option for walking or biking from the hotel and Husum is a short drive away by car.

“Sheep, serenity and more sheep. ”

Located away from anything and everything the Lundenbergsand hotel is the perfect place to wind down and enjoy life. Only sound you will hear for miles is the hundreds of sheep on the levy nearby. The staff is very friendly and the food is impressive for a little hotel like this. The spa is nic… lisää

Located away from anything and everything the Lundenbergsand hotel is the perfect place to wind down and enjoy life. Only sound you will hear for miles is the hundreds of sheep on the levy nearby. The staff is very friendly and the food is impressive for a little hotel like this. The spa is nice for relaxation and a massage, but it is missing a hot-tub if you ask me. Inside and outside pools are available along with sauna and steam-bath.

I booked a three day stay at the hotel and so far it has been a disappointment. The rooms are clean, but on the smaller side and while updated they have a slight dated feel to it. I booked a three day stay at the hotel and so far it has been a disappointment. The rooms are clean, but on the smaller side and while updated they have a slight dated feel to it. The light house tower where most of the spa rooms located and treatments are booked offers great views. The biggest disappointment however was the restaurant. There was only one server on staff and the service was extremely slow. The salad tasted great, but otherwise the food was bland, cold and overcooked. It took the waitress forever to come back and ask if I was interested in anyone else than a main course. After a long wait I ordered dessert, which she forgot the first time and I had to order it twice. The dessert, a Creme Brûlée was a complete fail. It was cold, no warm crust and the creme had curdled to a consistency of cottage cheese. The waitress never came back to ask how enjoyed my dinner. Not sure how this restaurant ever got it’s rating, it certainly isn’t worth a two star rating.

On our day of arrival we called the hotel and told the receptionist that we would prefer a late check-in, which apparently was perfectly ok as long as we'd check in before 10pm. On our day of arrival we called the hotel and told the receptionist that we would prefer a late check-in, which apparently was perfectly ok as long as we'd check in before 10pm. Upon our arrival at 9.30 pm we were greated grouchily by the hotel manager and told that we'd almost had been kicked out of the system (read the hotel) as we hadn't shown up during regular check-in time. After a quick and informative tour through the hotel we were told that we still could enjoy a meal at their restaurant. The restaurant staff however apparently thought of the late guests as a burden and served us reluctantly a dinner that wasn't as good as expected as the lamb was rather dry and the dish certainly wasn't made with love. The breakfast however - as the hotel in general - was really nice and enjoyable being packed with lots of local products. The room was clean, the cleaning staff utterly friendly and the bed was great for a good night sleep. This hotel has a lot to offer but the service and the handling of uncommon situations certainly has to be learned and trained.
