I know it is called "Romantik hotel" but trust me is also a business hotel. All the things neede are in place. Now free high speed wifi too - which last time was not yet available. I know it is called "Romantik hotel" but trust me is also a business hotel. All the things neede are in place. Now free high speed wifi too - which last time was not yet available. The nearby railways can bother you in the morning but not too early as it is well set after a specific hour to be used. A lot of birds to listen too. Parks just next to the hotel. One greek restaurant just next to the hotel - found it open in a Sunday afternoon. Great food, great location, perfect.

“Beautiful setting”

Even though I didn't enjoy the romantic aspects of this hotel (business trip), all of the others were great. Great setting, in the outskirts of Wildgehege Salvest, great rooms and facilities, with a very effective and nice service to go along. A very enjoyable place to stay, and even more to enjoy all of the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

Stayed two consecutive nights there for business. Room sizes vary, had what I would consider a tiny one by American standard but small by European standard. Stayed two consecutive nights there for business. Room sizes vary, had what I would consider a tiny one by American standard but small by European standard. Priced a bit high for the region given that this was a single person bed. The hotel is located close to the city but still is in the woods with a brook next to it. Behind are rail road tracks, some traffic during the day and almost none at night. Breakfast choice is reasonable (although a lot better food than what we see at american hotels) and service is very good. Restaurant was on the expensive side. I chose this hotel for their exercise room but realized it was under construction. European hotels are famous for having pool and saunas but rarely would you find a decent exercise room.

“2 lovely nights in the Black Forest with great food and accommodation!.”

My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights last month.The hotel is located 10 mins by car to Villingen-Schwenningen which is worth a visit. We stayed in room 223 which is on the 2nd floor,is a suite with a balcony and is quiet.There is a lift to all floors and ample parking in front of the hotel. Our roo… lisää

My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights last month.The hotel is located 10 mins by car to Villingen-Schwenningen which is worth a visit. We stayed in room 223 which is on the 2nd floor,is a suite with a balcony and is quiet.There is a lift to all floors and ample parking in front of the hotel. Our room was large,airy and clean.The hotel is very smart and the food in the restaurant is excellent!.We ate there both nights and you can choose from a la carte or a set 5 course menu with half-board which is what we chose.Portions were the right size to try all courses!.Breakfast was a lovely selection of breads,fruits,meats,cheeses,yoghurts and cooked food and coffee/tea was good too. The owners really go out of their way to make you welcome and have great recommendations for things to do.
