“Great hotel and family ”

The owner and the family are nice and friendly. The room is clean and breakfast is variety and great. The location is not far from Titisee. It takes us 10 mins to get there. We would stay there again.

We have been visiting the Adler for 14 years and it is just incredible that in the many visits over those years the quality has never varied in the slightest. That includes the quality of the food and the service. It is really amazing that such consistency of so high a level of service delivery can be achieved. This visit was slightly different in that it was the first time we stayed over at the Adler, for two nights. The accommodation, just like the restaurant, is of the highest quality. Beautifully appointed and decorated rooms, spotlessly clean, comfortable and peaceful. All this however, is not what makes the Adler so special. It is the wonderful people who work here. Visiting the Adler is just like coming home to your parents house. The feelings of comfortable familiarity, peace, restfulness, friendliness and happiness immediately overcome you. We can only say thank you to the Familie Wimmer-You and the staff at the Adler for all the wonderful memories over the years. We will return.

“Top place to eat at Fieldberg ”

Though this place is a bit steep/costly, their afternoon meals are a good deal. His place has a very warm feel to the entire place. Has excellent menu and a good child friendly room . The bar was great too. Have a look at the pics to see their Salads and meets

We stayed over for three nights with another couple. Both rooms offered everything you need and kept us warm at those cold black forest winter nights. We stayed over for three nights with another couple. Both rooms offered everything you need and kept us warm at those cold black forest winter nights. The bus for the ski slopes leaves basically just in front of the door, it's not even a 5 min walk. Another big Plus is the offered "Hochschwarzwaldkarte", which has great value for your daily activities. The only thing I was not too happy about was the menu, including the wine selection in the restaurant. The food was in general good, but slightly overpriced. Same goes for the wines, especially the overseas and spanish ones easily tripled or quadruplet their prices. Apart from that - all good!
