First, the property is pretty new as it was built just two or three years ago. The choice of furnishings in the common area as well as the rooms is quite modern and smart. The linens all super clean and soft. The food everywhere was tops. Second, besides all that, specific mention must be made about the staff and facilities. I’ll jump ahead and say that the staff in every department makes you feel like you’re in your second home! My wife and I were there 5 or 6 days and got to meet quite a few of them. Also, the swimming pool, sauna and steam room all functioned perfectly. That’s a big one for me since I use them daily. In addition, try to get use of the Club Lounge as it’ll add a big value to your stay as they have excellent hot food at dinner time and you save a restaurant visit. They also do business details like faxing, scanning and other things if you need. I saw plenty of travel “nomads” utilizing the few private rooms in the Club Lounge to take care of business. Now the negatives; The hotel is located in a part of town that’s far from anyplace that’s walking distance. One must take a taxi if they want to go anywhere. The second is that it’s a bit pricier than other new Mariotts around the world, but keep in mind that ALL the hotels are pricy in Saudi Arabia. It’s just a tough pill to swallow for a top hotel. It’s also a relative thing since “pricey for one may be not so pricey for another. Also, prices change wildly depending on the time of year and events in the area. So, if you’ve got about $200 for each night, then it’s a can’t go wrong experience. Howard S.

Such an amazing experience and amazing staff from the breakfast to the cleaning staff I always came back to my room being completely spotless thanks to karmul

“Very Good Hotel”

The Jeddah Marriot Hotel was relatively new and a top class hotel. Location was not in a tourist area but a short Uber ride to most places. Service was good, the roomns large and clean and there was an excellent M Club Lounge. Overall a good experience.

“Excellent Stay”

Spent 2 nights for work in Jeddah, checking in was amazingly done by Fahad. He’s an amazing person, Very hospitable and courteous. Breakfast was fantastic with a lot of live stations, especially the manaeesh corner. Pool is ok and gym needs improvement.
