Amazing Food. Friendly staff. Stunning Garden. Clean rooms. Nothing bad to say. Just perfect to the escape from a busy life. FOM Asintha and Team did a great job to make our stay wonderful. Totally valuable for the money spent.

The place was exceptional. It is a heaven among mango tree to be honest which ends up with Dambullu Oya. Food at the rice restaurant was so delicious and whole staff was so friendly. Rooms were clean everything was perfect. Front office staff was so attentive and so efficient and Must mention Mr. Asintha The Front Office Manager and Mrs. Dilani Guest Relations Manager attended to almost every request made by us. I would definitely revisit this wonder full property.

We have stayed in many hotels in Dambulla but this one of the best place and we would love to visit again soon. We have stayed in many hotels in Dambulla but this one of the best place and we would love to visit again soon. The front office staff one Matheesha is the one who handled our booking and recommend him as he is so kind and polite to accommodate my request time to time. Room was very clean - i requested them for a better view room we got the Quad room instead of Tripple whereas the surrounding is amazing. Room service was really fast and the staff too is efficient. F&B Restaurant - Food is really tasty though limited spread due to the offer may be but we really enjoyed. One Mr. Indika and Mr. Attanayake is one of the asset i would say. They really handled with kindness and with great attitude and more with full of respect. We visited with another family and we really appreciate the hospitality Mr. Indika and Mr. Attanayake provided. Bar Counter - One of the elderly gentlemen who really had taken time to explain about the history of the hotel and we were so happy to spend some time with him too. We really appreciate him too and he too is one of the asset to the hotel. Overall we really loved the place and visit may be will visit soon with more friends. Thank you

“Great location just needs some updating.”

We have just moved on to Trincolomee after spending 4 nights here. I cannot agree with some of the comments about the staff, we found them all very pleasant, attentive and helpful at all times. We have just moved on to Trincolomee after spending 4 nights here. I cannot agree with some of the comments about the staff, we found them all very pleasant, attentive and helpful at all times. Check in was a bit laboured as they had double booked our room but they got it all sorted. The rooms are ok, overlooking trees with plenty of wildlife and noise. The rooms could do with a makeover. A fresh coat of paint wouldn’t hurt. We did have an issue with no refrigerator in the room and we did get one the following day. Food was as expected, buffets always have a downside and you really need to be there early. There are many areas they could improve on and in particular fresh fruit, water melon can be a bit repetitive as is papaya. There was no fresh pineapple for instance or any citrus fruit. We visited the local wholesalers in Dambulla and there so many fruits to choose from but sadly dont make it to dining options. The garden and paddy fields are great to walk around. You really are on the edge of the jungle. A few little upgrades and this hotel would be perfect. Would I return? Yes but I’d like to see some upgrades first.
