A real oasis and the perfect relaxation spot where we just unwound for the 2 days we were there. We visited the the ancient ruins, but the rest of the time we stayed around the Pool, sat on the loungers staring across the lake and sipped ice cold beer on the patio. A real oasis and the perfect relaxation spot where we just unwound for the 2 days we were there. We visited the the ancient ruins, but the rest of the time we stayed around the Pool, sat on the loungers staring across the lake and sipped ice cold beer on the patio. Great food and the highlight was a wedding being held on the 2nd morning that we were invited to join!!! A real local wedding with dancers and acrobats. What a beautiful location.

“Paradise (may be with a few things to put right)”

We had a very warm welcome to the hotel. The hotel is beautifully presented and is an oasis of greenery. The plantation and landscaping is excellent… a bit of a paradise! We had a very warm welcome to the hotel. The hotel is beautifully presented and is an oasis of greenery. The plantation and landscaping is excellent… a bit of a paradise! We were shown to our room by a nice lady and luggage is brought to your room. Excellent staff, especially in the restaurant Bedroom was spacious and on two levels. En-suite bathroom has an area where the bath and shower is, which is part open to the sky, and there’s a tree trunk running through the ceiling making it very characterful. Lots of hot water. However there are not enough mirrors - none in the bedroom or the lounge area, just one in the bathroom. The seating area in the downstairs bedroom lounge area has no television - the tv is upstairs in the bedroom. There needs to be another tv in the downstairs seating area. There is no fridge in the room. There is no telephone in the bedroom to contact reception (despite the in room information giving various in-hotel phone numbers to ring!) WiFi is very poor, as is mobile reception (o2) Visited the bar and had been looking forward to a Negroni all day from the bar menu - was informed they didn’t have the ingredients to make one!!! Really??? Very bad. Shows poor management. Why have a cocktail on the menu if you don’t have the ingredients!!! Buffet style evening food. This is of a fairly reasonable standard and there is plenty of variety including theatre style cooking of fish (a lot of bones!), pasta etc etc Beef was very dry and difficult to eat but everything else was good Where the buffet is, is quite a small area and is very hot and crowded at busy times. One of us is gluten and dairy intolerant and the restaurant specially cooked some very nice fish (thank you again) There was a three-piece band at dinner who were very good. At breakfast the restaurant also made a special effort to accommodate dietary requirements which was very much appreciated. Also, good omelettes. The staff in the restaurant were very good Swimming pool area is especially pleasant although the water was very cold - same also for the jacuzzi! This was disappointing. Overall we much enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay for longer £££

“Overall good location”

Nice, calm location as expected. Rooms were okay, but basic amenities like toothbrushes were not provided. The jacuzzi was not clean, TV didn’t work well and Wi-Fi was poor. Food was not worth the price. Also, pricing didn’t feel fair compared to local customer rates. Overall good location.
