Grounds are superb, staff all excellent, large comfortable room, well stocked. Food and service In all restaurants we tried in the 3 different hotels were all good, except La Toc french restaurant where service was non existent. Visited 16 years back but even better now. Had a wonderful vacation with at Sandals Halcyon. We experienced Sandals at Grenada, St. Lucia (La Toq), Jamaica and Emerald Bay and Sandals St. Lucia Halcyon was one of our favourites. The resort is smaller than most but it has a bit of boutique vibe. Staff were friendly and they seemed happy to be there. Shout out to Jonathon, Ashia and Karim at the bar. Rum sour made with Chairman's Spiced Rum was a treat! The watersports lady by the pool was a real character and gave us several laughs. The poolside entertainment was just enough and as usual, entertaining. My wife found the music was a bit too loud the first couple of days but was better later on. Now for the resort. We had a walkout and it was convenient and the maid service was spot on (unlike La Toq last year). The beach is good for walking and although you can swim, the water was stirred up due to wave action. I like to see if anything is creeping up me. The food was excellent and although there was no coffee shop (one is apparently in the works) we managed okay with the coffee station. My only pet peeve is not the resort or staff but guests - guys, didn't your mother tell you ball caps are not to be worn at the table during dinner?? I mainly enjoy Sandals for the diving and in my opinion, St. Lucia has some of the best. Vibrant and diverse aquatic life. The hard corals like everywhere has died out but I did see some staghorn starting to make a come back. The dive staff serve both La Toq and Halcyon guests and I can't say enough good things about the dive team and boat captains. They are professional, knowledgeable and all round great people. They keep me coming back and I look forward to seeing them again.

“Halcyon is Family!”

This was our 3rd visit to Halcyon and we loved every minute of catching up with our Sandals family there. Want to give a shoutout and thanks to those who enriched our stay. This was our 3rd visit to Halcyon and we loved every minute of catching up with our Sandals family there. Want to give a shoutout and thanks to those who enriched our stay. The amazing entertainment staff led by Neal (captain) - especially LeShawn, Boozie, Sami, Dylan, & Jeanne - always greeted us with smiles (knew our names) and kept the fun going at the main pool. Germaine - love the water workout classes & his encouragement/ personality! Bartenders Vince, Ryan, and Michaelina kept the drink & conversation flowing. Servers Karshema & Tammy always had a smile & took such perfect care. Chef Veronica makes the best eggs Benedict and remembers me from prior years. Dear to my heart is Michelle from Loyalty. While we didn't book this time (already two more sandals trips booked), she remains such a special friend to us. A hug and smile from her is the perfect welcome home. Last but not least - Ruth is the mother hen of all things Sandals. From her front desk post, she welcomes each guest with open arms. Thank you to all mentioned and those I didn't get names - another wonderful Sandals trip filled with wonderful memories. I would be remiss not to mention, however, our disappointment in regard to dining options. We thoroughly enjoyed every breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Bayside - the buffet lunch options can’t be beat! Eleanor’s dinners were underwhelming compared to previous visits and Mario’s was a disappointment as well. We were told of a new chef at Mario’s - smaller portions, cold soup, and a carbonara pasta that was just awful (pasta swimming in bowl of sauce). Hopefully, the new chef can figure things out. The staff was wonderful and dessert was the highlight. Halcyon is truly comprised of the best of the best when it comes to caring about the needs of visitors and giving their all to ensure a wonderful vacation is achieved.

Beautiful grounds. Food excellent. All the staff fantastic - big thank you goes to Trista who went above and beyond. Whilst the paradise pool is beautiful, the main pool and bar area felt cramped and a little tired; as too is Kelly’s restaurant - updates are needed. You do need to be up early to … lisää

Beautiful grounds. Food excellent. All the staff fantastic - big thank you goes to Trista who went above and beyond. Whilst the paradise pool is beautiful, the main pool and bar area felt cramped and a little tired; as too is Kelly’s restaurant - updates are needed. You do need to be up early to bag your sun bed - more needed. Our room was great and always cleaned but replenishments weren’t always as they should be. The gym is very good and was never really busy, which was great. Whilst the food options were of great quality, no snacks are available with either drinks at the bar or in your room eg peanuts or crisps, which are generally provided in most four star hotels in the Mediterranean. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and were well looked after but at the most this is a 4.5 star hotel.
