When cleaning the room the staff leaves you bread, butter, cheese spreads, marmalade, juice and mineral water for next day breakfast. Located right in the center of town, near the Stadtturm. On the ground floor there is a restaurant with the same name.

“Good for Price Paid during Corona Lockdown”

Stayed here in various rooms over last few weeks but have been disappointed by a couple of issues. One room had a window which would not open due to the curtain rail being too close and there is no air conditioning (in any room I stayed in). Stayed here in various rooms over last few weeks but have been disappointed by a couple of issues. One room had a window which would not open due to the curtain rail being too close and there is no air conditioning (in any room I stayed in). The other rooms I stayed in were noisy due to poor sound proofing between rooms - I could hear people walking around next door and the lift every time it went up and down. Some rooms have windows opening on to a street restaurant which is very noisy until late in the evening. The decoration and finish of the rooms which have kitchens in them is very good so its unfortunate the quality of the building construction doesn't live up to the interior design. I paid a fairly low rate due probably due to the Corona lockdown - if I had paid the full rate which appears to be above £120 per night I would have given the place 1 star.

“nice place but impossible to get a receipt for the charges”

Pro: The place has a very nice location, a nice restaurant (no breakfast) on the first floor. My bag was lost during the flight and the restaurant was nice to receive it and keep it for us until our arrival from another city. We really appreciate it. Pro: The place has a very nice location, a nice restaurant (no breakfast) on the first floor. My bag was lost during the flight and the restaurant was nice to receive it and keep it for us until our arrival from another city. We really appreciate it. The rooms are well equipped, there are washer, refrigerator, stove , microwave, water kettle, shower, elevator. There was no food. Check-out time was flexible. Cons: Our room was under the roof and there were pretty steep stairs inside. There is no reception and connecting with the management is troublesome. We were on a business trip and need a receipt for reimbursement. It turns out it is impossible to get it. When called, manager promises to sent it but then it never arrived. So be aware - the credit card will be charge, but no receipt, only booking confirmation. There was also a fishy attempted to charge us additional 200 Euro for damage of equipment. When we called and asked to email us pictures, the subject was dropped. We are still puzzled what it was. Overall, our stay itself was very enjoyable.
