We were deeply impressed by all the facilities: treatments area, restaurant, thermal pools, the surroundings, gardens, etc. We sat down in the restaurant just for a couple of ice creams which weren't anything special.

“Most impressive rehabilitation facility”

We visited the place that one of us booked for a couple of weeks on medical recommendation. The place looks very impressive, beautiful surroundings and most promising. In the framework of our preliminary visit we sat down in the cafeteria and had ice cream. The latter excelled in mediocrity.

“Beautiful hotel in spa area”

Very friendly service by most of the personal, ready to do an extra effort to make the customer feel comfortable. Clean and inviting rooms, useful amenities for a hotel with spa next to it. Efficient and friendly check-in Very comfortable hall with a well equipped library and a pleasant pianist

We got here to have a rest after the busy New Year days. The hotel provides basic accommodation, but is clean and quite. It operates in connection with health clinic and mineral water spa. We got here to have a rest after the busy New Year days. The hotel provides basic accommodation, but is clean and quite. It operates in connection with health clinic and mineral water spa. Therefore the age of the guests at the time of our stay was mostly senior. They were all very nice people and we enjoyed their company at breakfast. The natural mineral water spa was really nice and relaxing and we enjoyed our short stay as well as the walks in the area.

“Sleeping in a nursing home”

Pleasantly isolated and surrounded by forest and the Aare-River. Impressive old building. While the Public area looks elegantly nice and freshly redone, in (some of the) hotel rooms renovation didn’t made it beyond the wooden floor. Beds, furniture and bathroom are outdated and look morbidly golden… lisää

Pleasantly isolated and surrounded by forest and the Aare-River. Impressive old building. While the Public area looks elegantly nice and freshly redone, in (some of the) hotel rooms renovation didn’t made it beyond the wooden floor. Beds, furniture and bathroom are outdated and look morbidly golden-70ties. In the bathroom it’s all plastic and you might have doubts about cleanliness (see pictures). No minibar and no room service (“we have fix dinner times”, gives you a nursing home feeling).Some of the rooms are just next to patient rooms which reinforces that NH-impression. The good points: friendly staff, quiet area and free bike rental. All in all: interesting time-travel some 40 years back but at least for the unrenovated rooms clearly not worth the prize.
