Stayed in an apartment in the Micheline Chalet next to the hotel, sking the first week in February. The Eggli gondola is ideally located less than a minute from the hotel making the ski area so accessible. Accommodation was spacious, well designed and spotlessly clean. Stayed in an apartment in the Micheline Chalet next to the hotel, sking the first week in February. The Eggli gondola is ideally located less than a minute from the hotel making the ski area so accessible. Accommodation was spacious, well designed and spotlessly clean. There is a superb private spa in the basement. The hotel is family owned and expertly managed . Staff were extremely friendly and helpful . Ambiance in the hotel was pleasant and relaxed . This hotel is more four star than three. You can eat in the restaurant or pizzeria. Food was acceptable. You can walk into the village centre in 10 to 15 mins. Would strongly recommend the restaurant in the Post Hotel Rossli or the bar in the Olden, should you feel like splashing out a bit. This was my third visit to Arc en Ciel and hopefully will return soon.

“Love it. Think it's underrated in the sea of Gstaad hotels.”

Fabulous time. This hotel is underrated. The rooms are beautiful. I fell asleep with the trickling stream in the background. Rooms are incredibly nice/fit in with the location. They kept the spa open a little late for me so I could sauna.

“Jewel in Gstaad”

We stayed at one of the apartments and loved everything about it. The hotel treats guests in a special way; the spa, the food, the kindness of employees, all are great. The hotel is located in a quiet street with good parking and close to hiking routes. We will go back to this hotel soon.

Adorable cabin like rooms. Restaurant is good. 10 min walk to the ‘city center’ and 15-20 min walk to the train station. Awesome amenities for kids like a little racetrack. I made use of the ping pong table. If you’re into skiing/snowy activities this is the spot to be, because the lift is literally across the hotel. Rooms can be a little loud at night. All in all a great experience for the price. I’d stay here again.
