Ok! If you are on the fence on whether to take a family trip here with the littlies, just do it , they will love it . This is a great disneyland alternative! And the bonus is Tainan is one of the best cities if you love food (especially street food) and culture- so something for everyone. Sure its a little crowded here, but staff were very friendly and not overwhelmed. There was some plush toy promo and a staff member gave our kid one even though they didnt have to . Its stuff like that you remember! Great job guys.

“2 nights family visit to Tainan”

Stayed here for a 2 nights visit with family. Personally I would have given 3 stars for the hotel due to wear and tear. Stayed here for a 2 nights visit with family. Personally I would have given 3 stars for the hotel due to wear and tear. The furniture and light switches look like they have been through abuse and never refreshed. For example the light switch on the nightstand was completely loose and wouldn't work. The caulk in the shower had extensive mold growth and the in general the bathroom smelled moldy. Same with the first floor of the building, just smell like sewage as soon as you walked in. I raised it to a 4 stars because of the accommodation for kids, who thoroughly enjoyed the roof top go-kart and trains. They also spent hours in the play room on the 5th floor.

Great hotel rooms, well provisioned and very helpful front desk staff. We were especially appreciative of Austin Mei who was very responsive. Great location, though it is not that accessible from the street -- hard for taxis or vans to drop you off at the door and hard to find if you are coming here in a car on your first visit. And if you are thinking of staying here, you should know this hotel caters specifically to families with young children. When we arrived on a Saturday evening there was pandemonium in the lobby with an excess of noisy kids, screaming, running around and doing what young kids do. Some of this noisiness spilled over into the breakfast room in the morning. Though once we were in our room, it was all peaceful. The abundance of restless kids was the only reason for not giving the hotel a five star rating.
