This was definitely not the most luxurious hotel I've stayed in, but it was really decent for the Alishan National park. When we got our Alishan railway tickets, we looked at the hotels on this site and there were not many choices. Most of them looked quite old and poorly reviewed. Some were way too expensive. This hotel for some reason was not listed under Alishan, even though it was in the same tourist village as the rest of the hotels. Booking the hotel was an interesting experience since their website and emails were in Chinese. Somehow with the help of Google Translate I managed to book a room. The hotel was clean and recently remodeled. We booked a premium double guest room and it was not bad. I saw some of their single rooms were literally the width of a twin bed with no other space in the room. Like everybody else, we got coupons for breakfast for two nights. The second restaurant was slightly better than the first one, but in both cases there were no western options. I do not regret staying in this hotel. If the fancier hotels were not so expensive I would have booked one of those. But, given the options, I am glad this one was available.

“nice hotel”

this hotel is nearly the alishan scenic park ..if u want to watch the sunrise ,then this hotel will do the purpose as it is near the forest train..you will still need to pay the entrance fee for alishan scenic park eventhough the hotel is located inside the scenic park.if u have luggage,it is trou… lisää

this hotel is nearly the alishan scenic park ..if u want to watch the sunrise ,then this hotel will do the purpose as it is near the forest train..you will still need to pay the entrance fee for alishan scenic park eventhough the hotel is located inside the scenic park.if u have luggage,it is troubsome because of the steep stairs in coming to this hotel..so u better call the hotel management to pick u up when youre in the alishan 711 already.no elevator too,but girl employee will help u to carry your luggage up your room.breakfast is not for westerners..and it is serve on another resto. the room is small but clean and have a nice window view.

“very happy with our stay”

Very clean. We stayed 2 nights. Modern design. Bathroom is clean, has heated toilet seat. Staff were helpful. Gave clear info for sunrise tour the next morning. Morning call at 4am. We have 2 double beds for 3 adults. Bottled water provided everyday. Room is small but has everything one needs. Heat… lisää

We have 2 double beds for 3 adults. Bottled water provided everyday. Room is small but has everything one needs. Heating and cooling can easily be adjusted. Breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Will return again if I visit Alishan in the future.

“Acceptable but may not return”

The room was really small for the price paid. But most of Alishan's hotels are quite expensive. The bed was really hard and the pillow was really flat. Wasn't a comfortable rest. But if you're only staying 1 night for the sunrise, you may not get much sleep anyways. The place provides free shuttle … lisää

But if you're only staying 1 night for the sunrise, you may not get much sleep anyways. The place provides free shuttle service to and from the Alishan bus station (upon request). 5 mins walk to the Sunrise Train station and the Alishan Recreational Area.
