“Perfect Location for Fireworks Festival”

We stayed here for three nights, the staffs here were extremely helpful. They always provided us lots of travel suggestions as well as assisting us booking the local tour. We came here for the fireworks festival, I have to say the location was awesome! It's the BEST location for fireworks. We were watching the fireworks so closely and feels like it's only for us. If you are coming here for fireworks, it's the MUST. Also, the hotel location is also very close to city no matter you are going for food or site seeing. it's all about walking distance. Fantastic staying. The only thing I would suggest is to improve the breakfast quality which its not really too many choices. However, there were so many local food for breakfast choice, why bother staying here for breakfast?

We stayed at the Youth Activity Centre during a visit to the Penghu Islands, on the recommendation of some local friends and I can verify that older and less active guests are also made very welcome. We stayed at the Youth Activity Centre during a visit to the Penghu Islands, on the recommendation of some local friends and I can verify that older and less active guests are also made very welcome. The rooms are spacious,en-suite, clean and comfortable with a TV. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and even found a meeting room and produced tea when I had to meet with a local government representative. It is ideally located in a quiet spot on the outskirts of the city of Makung, close to the sailing centre. The shops and restaurants of the city are within easy walking distance. The centre's accommodation is simple, inexpensive, well located and there is free Wi-Fi ( you may need to perch in the lobby if reception is dodgy). Breakfast was not the strongest feature but to be fair there were very few guests at the centre as we were visiting in winter. The Penghu's are amazing and well worth a visit but try to time your visit for the summer months as it is cold, bleak and very windy in the winter. For those that can live without wall to wall jacuzzis and room service and just want the basics with a friendly smile this is the place, whatever your age.
