“Great experience with modern hotel”

I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights when I was in Taichung. This hotel was great as well, quiet and clean. Comfy room with modern facilities. The staff were nice and helpful. About 100m from 7eleven, 1.08km from Fengjia Night Market but no more activities around this hotel.

location : good and quiet and less than 10mins walk to FengJia Market and a 7-11 nearby breakfast : OK but can be better room : OK but slightly below expectation judging from the pictures on website but overall stay was good regardless service : need improvement ... receptions were literally receiving guest / answering with no smile whatsoever and most were just hidden behind the desk due to the design of the hotel ... would have expected better service considering the price above many hotels nearby connectivity : walking distance to the nearest bus station and about 25mins to Chaoma walking

“Not bad ”

We stayed for 2 nights here. It's a short walk from Feng Jia nightmarket which was welcome after all the bubble tea and food from the market. There is a good ginger duck hotpot place nearby as well. About 5 min from the hotel is a local market with plenty of local hawkers and eateries as well. This made for a good base for us to explore taichung. The room was pretty big and quite fancy. We had an air purifier in the room and fancy ceilings and a nice bath tub. The only downside was that the room was dark so putting on any make up was a gamble. Also some parts of the room could have been better maintained - shower head didn't work well, the toilet door couldnt close. Cleanliness wise it felt like the house keeping staff did the bare minimum of the job required of them. The bathtub felt clean on the inside but the sides were dusty. Also, there was a stain on the side of our toilet bowl which was a bit disturbing. We definitely didn't get the feeling of housekeeping going the extra mile for you. Service at the hotel also could have been better. The attitudes of the receptionists were cold and generally unhelpful. When we approach them for help we got the sense that they didn't expect us to ask them for anything. A further point to mention is that this hotel has a check out time of 12pm. It is a strict check out time. Any later and you will need to pay a charge. If you have not checked out by 1140am, the receptionists will call to chase you. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel. However I feel like the hotel could have been much better if the staff were more motivated. This would be a decent place to stay if you didn't need any help from any one and you are familiar with the town.

“4 nights Stay in Boda”

Room size is big as we’ve booked the Classic Double,the room is not quite clean,it’s kind of dusty & dirty! Services overall was ok! Location is not too bad, kind of closed to night market, hotel has provided a free ride which is good. The hot water & air con system is poor in our room! We never g… lisää

Room size is big as we’ve booked the Classic Double,the room is not quite clean,it’s kind of dusty & dirty! Services overall was ok! Location is not too bad, kind of closed to night market, hotel has provided a free ride which is good. The hot water & air con system is poor in our room! We never get warm water while in the shower & bath was dirty. Air con system wasn’t working on the 1st 2 nights, which was freezing cold in our room. We may consider to come back if all issues have been fixed!

“Nice but weird”

The hotel looks very nice and clean. But when you get your room, the room itself is full of stairs and strange dark design. The toilet and the bedroom are not separated so if someone walks into the room he walks inside the toilet!! why?? Besides that, I had a tv in my shower... so as I said, weird.
