“Very smart, delightful people”

Very smart hotel with lovely public spaces and excellent rooms. We stayed on the 11th floor overlooking the front of the hotel. Great people and good location. Decent breakfast although it is taking some time for us to get used to the fayre. Enjoyed the better than average gym

Another great experience. Love it here. Would just request that staff stop wearing masks. It is difficult to understand what is being said and the guest can’t see a face which is the most important human experience. I boast about this hotel and would continue to do so. I hope the next trip no masks… lisää

“It's not perfect, but it's good enough; a timeless old classic”

Location: About 15 minutes to high-speed rail station by taxi. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Location: About 15 minutes to high-speed rail station by taxi. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Breakfast: It may not have a wide selection of food, but it has basic breakfast items for Asians and Westerners. The sweet potatoes are very soft and sweet. Room: An old classic style that is timeless. As part of an effort to minimize plastic waste, hotels generally no longer provide complimentary bottled water. In this hotel, they provide a pitcher in every room, and there's a water station near the elevator, where you can fill in drinking water. The beds are firm type, I suppose they are good for the spine, but they don't seem to support the spine that well. The saddest part of the bed is that there's only one pillow per bed. I am not sure if you may request an extra pillow, but I didn't bother to make it. There's no clock in the room. The hotel may be old-fashioned, but it did some upgrades - the power outlets come with USB ports, both type A and type C. So you would only need to bring your USB cord. Generally, it is good enough.

It is a no-frills hotel with excellent breakfast, clean rooms, a swimming pool, and a lovely café with amazing sweets. If you are looking for a charming hotel, this is not it. But it has everything (except late-night room service, unfortunately). It is a good business hotel in a not very charming part of the city. The rooms need an update: old plugs (only Chinese), no USB plugs. There are no American TV channels.
