“A Truly Unforgettable Solo Experience”

My solo stay at Saadani was absolutely amazing and full of beautiful surprises. My solo stay at Saadani was absolutely amazing and full of beautiful surprises. I initially thought it would be just a relaxing getaway on my own, but it turned into a truly memorable and meaningful experience. The room was very nice, comfortable, and peaceful. The food was amazing delicious, well prepared, and consistently excellent throughout my stay. The experiences were incredible from start to finish. The game safari was great, fun, and unforgettable. A very special thank you to Lembris, who was my guide during the game drive safari, the village tour, and all the experiences. Even though I was traveling alone, he made me feel very comfortable and well taken care of. Seeing wildlife such as a crocodile, enjoying the beautiful birds along the river, and experiencing the rich nature of Saadani made everything extra special. The sunset views were absolutely breathtaking so peaceful, calm, and relaxing. Saadani is truly a place where you can disconnect, breathe, and enjoy nature at its best. Coming back to the lodge after the safari was so relaxing. Thank you so much for the ocean-view suite it was absolutely beautiful and made my stay even more special. Special thanks also to Jenny for her outstanding service and for making my stay so special with wonderful arrangements. The restaurant team, the food, and the entire staff were amazing, and the service was excellent throughout. I highly recommend Saadani to anyone traveling alone or with family it’s perfect for both. Just one friendly warning 😄: don’t be a lazy person, because there are early-morning game drives but trust me, they are 100% worth waking up for! A truly wonderful, calm, and unforgettable experience.

“Excellent, well located lodge with plenty of safari opportunities”

We stayed one night here as part of a package deal in a lovely detached, "thatched" cabin on the beach overlooking the ocean. We stayed one night here as part of a package deal in a lovely detached, "thatched" cabin on the beach overlooking the ocean. The cabin had all the creature comforts required but captured a nice rustic vibe with sand around the edges of the bathroom and dark wood finishings. The bed was huge and mosquito nets, as well as a large lockable box for valuables, were provided. The shower had good heat and adequate flow. Security staff escort you between your room and the restaurant in case of any hazards. Food choices were pre-ordered and served at your table; everything was of high quality, although non-sugar pudding options (which my diabetic wife required) were absent. A good range of drinks were included in our all-inclusive package and served in a pleasant lounge area next to the restaurant. All staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds included plenty of vegetation and birds seen here included: Northern Carmine, Little & White-throated Bee-eaters, Emerald-spotted Wood Dove, Blue Waxbill, Green-winged Pytilia, Gull-billed & Caspian Terns, African Wooly-necked Stork & Purple-banded Sunbird. The safaris, included in our package, were generally good and plenty of time for this was allocated in our short stay, although we felt the guide could have done more to point out birds (we did ask him to). However we felt lucky to have seen both Lions and an Elephant plus plenty of other mammals during such a short visit, including: Bushbucks, Yellow Baboons, Warthogs, Common Waterbucks, Common Zebras, Water Buffalos, Impalas, Duikers, a Rhebok, Masai Giraffes, Hippos, Hertebeest, Banded Mongooses & Vervets. Nearly all the birds we saw were off our own bat and included: Senegal Lapwing, Hamerkop, Speckled Mousebird, Crowned & Pale-billed Hornbills, European & Lilac-breasted Rollers, Black-crowned Tchagra, Flappet Lark, Red-billed Oxpecker, Three-banded Plover, Wahlberg's Eagle, Northern Carmine & White-throated Bee-eaters, Pale Flycatcher, Red-backed Shrike, Water Thick-knee, Palm-nut Vulture & Harlequin Quail. Overall this was a very enjoyable short stay in an excellent lodge with plenty of time on safari.

The safari itself was magical — we saw so much wildlife, and our guide and driver were both incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, making the whole experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, and the service throughout our stay was simply outstanding. The staff made us feel at home, always attentive and kind. It was the perfect combination of adventure, comfort, and relaxation. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable safari experience with family
