“Very nice hotel near Ronne”

I stayed at Fredensborg Badehotel for two nights with a wedding party. Great rooms, comfortable beds, very clean, well maintained property, lovely grounds, excellent breakfast buffet. Better to have a car but not too far from Ronne. A highly pleasant stay all around.

We stayed here for 2 nights in May. The rooms are clean, and comfortable, ours overlooked the Baltic Sea, which was beautiful. The restaurant was absolutely excellent, with very good service. “Not worth the price!”

We chose this hotel for a trip to Bornholm celebrate a special anniversary. Although the staff knew of this, there was nothing done to add to our celebration. The view from our room and the balcony was wonderful. The room was fine but nothing special and not worth the price. Brakfast was just o… lisää

We chose this hotel for a trip to Bornholm celebrate a special anniversary. Although the staff knew of this, there was nothing done to add to our celebration. The view from our room and the balcony was wonderful. The room was fine but nothing special and not worth the price. Brakfast was just ok,scambled eggs were cold. The breakfast room was crowded and people were not making much effort to keep a distance as was being recommended by the health authorities. The restaurant was nothing special and had a very limited menu.

“Lovely location - but room for improvement in restaurants”

Stayed 5 nights at the hotel. As in 2013 the view from the room was hard to beat - see photo. Also we found the renovation of the room to be very nice - the bathroom now have a very good rainforest shower and there were 2 nice armchairs next to the windows. Stayed 5 nights at the hotel. As in 2013 the view from the room was hard to beat - see photo. Also we found the renovation of the room to be very nice - the bathroom now have a very good rainforest shower and there were 2 nice armchairs next to the windows. For us the only problem with the room was the lock. When you left the room you had to insert the kay card to close the door and then insert the key card again to lock the door. We have never tried such system before and none told us on arrival. So - why only 3 stars? It is all about the restaurants. Like in 2013 we had the fish buffet and, yes there were oyesters, lobsters, shrimps etc. but apart from that nothing speciel. Therefore we found the price of 595 DKK p.p. rather heavy. Also - in our opinion - they did not conplied with the 1 meter distance. On Sunday I looked at the cheese board at 9.50 - 40 minutes before end of breakfast - and found it rather miserable - see photo - and NO more cheese added later. Also - like other says - we found the cold cuts nearly not-existing - on the first or second and forth morning we found a plate of salami and on the last morning a plate of sausage rolls. We also were not very satisfied with the tea - on the first and second morning we had green tea but for the 3 last mornings it was not available even though we asked for it. Will we return? Maybe for the room but we will look into reviews about the food before we book again.
