I actually spent 3 summers here in 2002,2003 and 2006. Tenuta is my fondest family holiday memory. All villas are to a high standard whilst feeling authentic. Great location between 2 large towns. I'm not sure if the same care taker however Johnny (described as 'Johnny, an Indian man' in the info at the villa!!) was brilliant. He was very efficient, he almost worked 24/7 to make sure the guests were happy.

“Amazing place, great host, only bad thing was the bed”

We arrived late in the evening, and the host Sonia, was nice enough to have dinner prepared very late for us. It was great food and just what we needed. We rented the villa Bruco which had 3 bedrooms, and it was perfect for our needs. Each room had a separate bathroom, and plenty of space in each.… lisää

We arrived late in the evening, and the host Sonia, was nice enough to have dinner prepared very late for us. It was great food and just what we needed. We rented the villa Bruco which had 3 bedrooms, and it was perfect for our needs. Each room had a separate bathroom, and plenty of space in each. The bedroom was a good size, but the beds were not great, or actually they were quite horrible for someone of a certain height. It was spring mattresses standing on a metal frame, which was actually ok, not great but ok. The problem was they put a wooden frame around, which was didnt fit at all. And the mattress was lower than the frame, so since Im taller than the frame was long, I spent every night banging my legs against the wooden frame. We did consider the place for a vacation again, and probably would, but I would definetly ask that they remove that awful bedframe.

“Comfortable agricultura in beautiful surrounding”

We stayed in the Torre Appartment for a long weekend and had agreat time. The appartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. At the arrival you are welcomed with a basket filled with wine and olive oil. Before arrival we had great contact with Sonia, she is really helpful and communicates very well… lisää

We stayed in the Torre Appartment for a long weekend and had agreat time. The appartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. At the arrival you are welcomed with a basket filled with wine and olive oil. Before arrival we had great contact with Sonia, she is really helpful and communicates very well. We really enjoyed our time at La Tenuta...nice swimming pool, nice staff and close to beautiful places like Siena, Montepulciano and the area of Val d’Orsa. You are in the middle of the Crete Senesi area which we found stunning!

Agriturismo Tenuta La Campana is located beautifully on the Sienese Hills. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has all the required utilities. Agriturismo Tenuta La Campana is located beautifully on the Sienese Hills. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has all the required utilities. The children enjoyed playing in the pool. And the view is fantastic. The staff was helpful and friendly, but not always on site. It was unfortunate the mountainbike which can be lent were not well maintained. The onsite restaurant offers basic dishes. The restaurant is quite overpriced if you compare it to other agriturismo or restaurants in the area. In balance it is a fantastic place, though quite expensive for the service received and compared to similar places in Tuscany.
