This is a delayed review of a trip to Chanthaburi in the year 2023. I stayed at Kasemsarn Hotel for 15days and enjoyed every minute of it. This hotel is good for those who enjoy the peaceful and serene Chanthaburi river front. (on weekdays). On weekends and special occasions (holidays and festive seasons), the river front can get a bustling with local and foreign crowds. But on weekdays, a typical day would be quiet and peaceful, while you sip on coffee and enjoy the breeze and tranquility that is charming Chanthaburi. Kasemsarn Hotel is a modern hotel for all sorts of guests from solo visitors as well as big spacious rooms for families and tour groups. This hotel is priced very competitively and you can get all the help and assistance from the reception for almost anything you desire in Chanthaburi. Transport is easy with a generous carpark for your vehicle or you can call for a Grab car or motorbike to help you transfer from location. Many locals know Kasemsarn, so you will have no trouble moving from place to place, in the city.

Stayed at this beautiful hotel for 15days during my recent trip to Chanthaburi from 11-26 April 2023. The rooms are superb and the service was impeccable. Reception is always available for any assistance. Security was available throughout the day and night. Chambermaids cleaned the rooms daily (or like me, I kept my room clean so they only came to clean up every 2 days). This hotel is a stone’s throw away from rimnam, the waterfront community. Lots of cafes, restaurants and nightspots for safe and peaceful eating and drinking until 12midnight. Hardly anything negative about this hotel. All good and near perfect. Transportation is easily available via Grab. Or if you rather, the hotel can call for a Mazda to take you wherever you want to go, within the city limits or further away. Central Chanthaburi is only a 66B Grab car ride away. Robinsons is also nearby. There’s a street market that will feed you well, within walking distance. Carpark is ample and readily available for hotel guests and visitors. (Ps if you can play the piano, there’s one at the lobby. Or if you there during the weekends, a pianist entertains your evening)

Perhaps one of the better hotels in Chanthaburi city. Just a stone’s throw from the riverfront with lots of culture and unique experiences to soak in. Perhaps one of the better hotels in Chanthaburi city. Just a stone’s throw from the riverfront with lots of culture and unique experiences to soak in. The hotel is full of comforts to make your stay so memorable. Staff are at every corner to assist from morning breakfast through to night. There’s a night security to handle safety issues while you sleep in peace in any of the well designed rooms. Morning is quiet and serene. This is a very convenient hotel to stay at. If coming in by interstate bus, this hotel is walking distance. For slow walkers, 15mins and you’ll be at the hotel.

“Great hotel”

Great location in the centre of town 10 minute walk from bus station and near all the gem shops and the riverside walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Arrived 13.30 staff were very apologetic that room was not ready ( check in is from 14.00 so not bothered) and offered me a seat and bought me a … lisää

Great location in the centre of town 10 minute walk from bus station and near all the gem shops and the riverside walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Arrived 13.30 staff were very apologetic that room was not ready ( check in is from 14.00 so not bothered) and offered me a seat and bought me a complimentary bottle of water whilst I waited. Only criticism of room was trying to find where I could plug the kettle in and the bathroom which has a small step down to enter and then another step to the toilet. Why am I critical of this? Because at night need to turn on the lights to go to the toilet to avoid trips or stubbing toes. No catering but not an issue in Thailand as plenty of good food to be found in easy walking distance
