We stayed in Riverawan for two nights as a stop off between Bangkok and Ko Chang. The hotel was clean, the rooms were a decent size and you catch WiFi just about anywhere within the hotel grounds. We had a beautiful view from the room, overlooking the river. The pool was a good size and there were plenty of loungers if you wanted to soak up the rays. The staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. Spoke little English but knew enough to help us with what we needed. We didn’t expect anymore, we were in a lovely little authentic Thai town. Not the busy streets of Bangkok. It was about a 20 minute walk into the centre but the hotel will call a taxi for you if you ask. Get a card from the driver and they’ll pick you up too, I’m pretty sure it was about 200 baht each way (£10) for the four of us. We ate out in a little Thai bar one evening which was beaut! The second evening we ate in the hotel and the food was equally as good, I’d definitely recommend it.

We booked the hotel last minute and it turned out to be great. Clean room and big balcony overlooking the river and view. And it's quite quiet so we love it. Still, the breakfast is quite pricey compared to what we got (I'm a serious breakfast person). Better to find local breakfast outside. It's… lisää

“Good river view hotel in the town”

I stayed here for one night last week. The hotel looked modern with good view to the river. The swimming pool was clean and had a adequate size. The room was clean and suitable for the price( very reasonable). I recommend this hotel for everyone who wish to make a short stay in the town.

“New and nice hotel, with river view and peaceful environment”

We had a business trip in Chanthaburi and stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is way greater than our expectation. Rooms are spacious, clean and new with river view. We had a business trip in Chanthaburi and stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is way greater than our expectation. Rooms are spacious, clean and new with river view. There is a balcony where we can sit and chill and enjoy the peaceful moment here. Staff were helpful and great! The only small minus thing was that they dont provide toothbrush in the room but you can get it from the reception. However, they dont sell toothpaste. Nevertheless, Chanthaburi is a great venue to escape from hectic life in Bangkok. And our stay here just makes our experience much more enjoyable.
