The resort itself is absolutely stunning — elegant, serene, and immaculately maintained. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and equipped with every comfort we could ask for. Waking up to the relaxing river views each morning was an experience we will never forget. What truly elevated our stay was the extraordinary level of service. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our entire visit. Their warm hospitality made us feel welcomed, valued, and completely at ease from beginning to end. It is rare to find a place that delivers excellence in every detail, but Riva Vista Riverfront Resort exceeded all expectations. I had a very pleasant stay at Riva Vista Riverfront Resort Chiang Rai. The hotel offers a beautiful combination of modern architecture and peaceful riverside surroundings. My room was the Deluxe River View, which was spacious and thoughtfully designed. Large windows allowed natural light to fill the room and provided a lovely view of the river, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. One thing I appreciated about the hotel is its boutique size. With only around sixty rooms, the property feels quiet and intimate, which makes it ideal for travelers looking for a more relaxed stay. The design of the hotel is modern yet warm, with open spaces that allow the surrounding nature to become part of the experience. If you are visiting Chiang Rai and want a peaceful riverside hotel with contemporary design, Riva Vista is definitely worth considering.

I ended up staying at the hotel due to needing to move from another one. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I ended up staying at the hotel due to needing to move from another one. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel is split over three different buildings, my room was in another building from the reception but all pretty close. My room was really nice, loved the added element of the sunken bath. Bed was really comfortable and shower was great. Breakfast was good too. Bear in mind it is quite a distance from the busyness of Chiang Rai but night market is a short grab ride away. I went for dinner at a nice riverside restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel which was lovely, blue temple is about 2 mins from the hotel. I also had a massage in the spa which was amazing and the lady was really kind. However you do need to book a minimum of an hour beforehand. I’m not sure I’d stay here again but that’s purely due to the location, the hotel itself is gorgeous and I felt really safe and it was peaceful. If that’s all you need then would highly recommend!
