the le neuf hotel in lampang is a bit hidden but yet at a very central location near the river and the walking street (old town).the hotel is privately managed and i seldom met more helpful and friendly people then the owners of the hotel. after a warm welcome we have been brought to our soacious and very clean room. the hotel is small and without a pool or a gym. but its cozy and homey. the owner soent a lot of time to explain us all the possibilities we had for sightseeing and made sure everything that we wanted to see and do was open and available. the self serve breakfast is not like in a 5* hotel but what you get is good and you get enough. all in all its a very good and friendly managed hotel and next time we go to lampang the le neuf will be again our first choice.

“Nice Modern Room, Helpful owner”

The hotel is set back from the main road less than 5 mins from the clock tower. Our room was on the first floor, was a good size, clean and modern. It had ac, fridge, large bed and a small balcony. The hotel is set back from the main road less than 5 mins from the clock tower. Our room was on the first floor, was a good size, clean and modern. It had ac, fridge, large bed and a small balcony. There was no noise from traffic or neighbouring properties. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the street adjacent to the river where there are a couple of nice bars and restaurants. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks good English. He can help with advice on Lampang and travelling in the area. There were a couple of bikes available free and 3 scooters, one of which we rented for a drive out into the surrounding countryside. When we left the owner gave us a lift to the bus station. I would have given 5 stars but the only downside was some noise from the next door room and the one above which suggested the walls might be quite thin. Aside from that we slept well and I would definitely use the hotel again.

“Cheap basic clean modern quiet”

Cheap modern clean basic. No breakfast option. 10/15 minutes walk to the main area for restaurants and bars. We couldn't find anywhere nearby doing breakfast at 8am when we needed it. Cheap modern clean basic. No breakfast option. 10/15 minutes walk to the main area for restaurants and bars. We couldn't find anywhere nearby doing breakfast at 8am when we needed it. The pick up service was not available when we arrived at the bus station but we easily got a taxi/tuktuk. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet the owner who apparently is extremely helpful and knowledgeable for trips etc so we didn't glean any information at all. The lady on reception was very sweet but didn't speak English. The bathroom is a wet room. The walls are a bit thin and we did hear some noise from next door but not too late. The price is amazing so we all felt we got what we paid for. There were only 2 bikes and we were a party of 4 so we didn't get the chance to take advantage of those.
