Tips: not for people with knee or leg problems as there's a stairs up from the car. Also a few insects (ants,mosquitoes) since it's hot weather and on ground floor.

“Nakon Sawan jewel.”

Great little gem of a hotel .Super clean. Well appointed with blowdryer, hotwater machine, TV, freex Wifi,warm ambient lighting. AC, nice bathroom/shower. We travel from Chiang Mai to Southern Thailand often. Will stay here again and again.

“Clean and quiet”

Mid priced hotel. Not really close to restaurants so a car is necessary. Rooms are good. Despite booking and paying for 2 adults and 2 kids, only breakfast for 3 was included because we booked a triple room. No facilities but a nice enough place to stay if passing through for 1 night.

The room is good size and well appointed with some quality fixtures, and good value for the price. The bed is a bit odd in that it seems to slope outwards, but maybe that is just me getting used to the rock hard alternatives I have been experiencing recently. AC good and hot water good whilst it lasts. We had a quiet nights sleep with the exception of around midnight when the biker next door had his 3 minutes of fun with the local talent, so I think the walls just about passed the test. Opted for the Thai breakfast which was tasteless and couldn't eat more than a few mouthfuls. I saw some were eating the western alternative which looked better if you like those little frankfurter sausages. Staff , with the exception of the very nice maid , were unhelpful and unfriendly all wearing long faces and attitudes to match I doubt I will return as it hasn't left a good feeling with me because of that aspect.

The French-connection I did not discover. A huge bear is marking the place along the busy road. But once found the entrance it looks very special and not-Thai. The set upp is a kind of Motel. You park your car under your room. A steep stair goes up to the room. Not easy for parents with child and luggage. And partly without ramp. After opening the door of the room you are in a total different world. A kingsize bed, TV, Wifi, fridge, watercooker and some teabags and powdercoffee. The bathroom is large and infact existing out of 3 spaces. A showerplace with 2 showers. An outside cabin in stone with rainshower and a toilet with wash basin area. The airco is well adjustable. The warm water supply is only served by a small heater, so the shower may not be too long. The breakfast was very poor. Tasteless. Better to eat a Thai rice soup somewhere in a local place.
